Its interesting how, we get true love when we are young, but we loose real love when we grow older. With more experience in life and it's toxicity, comes a colder personality and a wiser person.
When it comes sto relationship and love life in general, I always back out.
Currently, I have given up in chasing love an wanting to be loved. I'm just living life and running away from toxic things.
My first love dates back many years ago. I remember when I was still a kid, about 14 or so.
There was this girl in my area. We grew up together, play together and did many things when we were growing up. We were really close and I found myself unknowingly crushing on her.
Being a kid, I didn't actually know what was going on, but I knew that I cherish her a lot. We were close to the extent that our parents playfully called us husband and wife.
As expected, we both will always respond with - may God forbid. Haha. But deep down, I actually like her.
I can never forget the amount of jealousy I felt, when I boy held her hands. That was the first time I ever felt the feeling of jealousy. It was really hurtful, but, I respect myself and mind my business.
Time passed and we were not as close as we used to be, because she began to stay with her aunty. Her aunty lives far from our area. So, we could not see each other quite often.
Even at this, the love was still there, and I was hoping for the right time to ask her to be my girlfriend, but, unfortunately, my parents wanted us to relocate to the east.
I was really hurt and I was not ready to go, but, I had to. we got to the east, and I forgot about her after some months.
