Hello everyone and welcome to my post. It is a new day, a bright and beautiful day with great weather, good lighting and a perfectly beautiful sunrise.
As humans, one thing that makes us who we are is the ability to live by a moral code. Some persons develop moral codes to avoid mistakes and regrets while some develop this code due to the mistakes they have made, and the regrets they have for not doing something or for doing something wrongly.
Some people on the other hand do not have a moral code that guides them, they just live life.
Being different from the last type of people, there are moral codes that guide me. Lots of do's and dont's that are in my life. The policy that I set are much, which most of the times, restricts me from many things. Some even make people take advantage of me.
One of this many moral code is not to allow a woman spend on me. Even my girlfriend.
Inarguably, friendship is not about money. When monetary value is attached to a friendship, the that friendship is bound to be ruined in the long run.
I remember some time back, I had these friend who I once dated. I asked her about her ex and she told me many things about it. Negative things to be exact.
Told me how she spent on him, completed his travel fare to go abroad and many other things but then, the guy left her.
When I heard this, I was disappointed. Disappointed at her specifically. No cap, I asked about your ex, but why must you downgrade him to that extent because to spent some money to him? I just kept everything to myself though. Ever since, I refused to allow any female spend on me. Who knows what they will say about it afterwards? Though people try to take advantage of this morale code. I am wise enough to spot a gold digger among true people.
