Get a tech skill if you want to stay competitive.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. It is no new news that our world is moving towards digitalization; technology continues to evolve and improve, and there is no stopping that. Even I cannot believe that we would be where we are today with technology; every day there are new improvements making it a lot better to serve and attend to human needs. Way back, we had to write letters and wait for months to get a reply, but today, in a few seconds, you already have your reply, and we have multiple options we can use to convey our messages, unlike back then, where all we had was letters.

Technology touched every aspect of life—communication, transportation—everything that has to do with the betterment of humanity has been influenced by technology to make it even better. Those days we had animals to travel with or our foot, but today we have different modes of transportation to choose from. Anyone living on the face of the earth that has not felt the impact of technology is actually missing out on a lot of things and still has a long way to go. Technology is one of the best things that happened to humanity, despite the fact it comes with some disadvantages, but I feel the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Those days we had just the internet for research, but today we have artificial intelligence, which has made overcoming academic tasks very easy. Students these days just give artificial intelligence instructions and wait for the results; you don't have to overwork or put in so much work like back in the day. The evolution and improvement of technology is unstoppable, and in the near future the job market will be very competitive, and to meet up, everyone actually needs to level up their game as that's their only way of standing a chance or even staying competitive.

With how the world is moving towards digitalization, I feel overtime humans will be replaced by robots if they cannot offer the same thing or even more than what these robots offer. Robots were created to make life better and serve humans, but with the current look of things, the story is different. So I believe that everyone needs to learn a tech skill to stay competitive in the job market, as in the near future we will have robots doing the jobs humans do and even going beyond just tech but even doing menial jobs, thereby kicking humans out of the job space, as using robots to overcome a task might be cheaper and more affordable, and if anyone fails to make this improvement, they might not have a shot at jobs in the near future.

Yeah there’s so much tech evolution happening that it is essential to have one or two tech skills. Especially if you want to stay relevant.
