Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. I doubt if there is anyone out there who does not have a single celebrity they support and can defend to the last, even if they are not a celebrity freak; at least there is one celebrity out there who has your little support. I am not a celebrity freak; there are people that supports for a celebrity, and you tend to wonder if they are getting paid for it. Sometimes I wonder how people do it; the rate at which some people love a celebrity that does not know about their existence leaves me shocked to my bone marrow.
Down here in Nigeria, I would say the wizkid's fan Stan the most; they are solemnly behind him, whether wrong or right; there is nothing you would say to make them see him otherwise. I have seen fans who love WizKid beyond what words can express; if you want to know his every move, just visit their WhatsApp status. A few weeks back he caused trouble on X (formerly Twitter) by posting a video of another celebrity, and his fan took it personal to support and defend him.
I have a friend who posts only about WizKid on his WhatsApp status. Currently everyone is angry at him because he claims he is the quiet type online and does not like to make a post, and for that reason cannot celebrate the birthday or big day of friends and family. But everything WizKid posts on Instagram he will always repost on his WhatsApp status, but this is the same person who does not like to make a post to avoid calling attention to himself. This particular guy is for WizKid anyday and anytime, and if it were possible, he'd be acting and talking like WizKid, as anything and everything you want to know about WizKid you can ask him and he would be able to answer.
There are people that are for celebrities and don't mind fighting to make you see things as they want you to, and if you fail to, they don't mind cutting you off. I have a lot of celebrities that I admire either because of their hard work or how much they have achieved, and choosing just one from the long list is quite difficult for me, but the one celebrity I can go the whole day talking about and never get tired or run out of points to talk about us, Christiano Ronaldo, yeah, you heard me right.
Christiano Ronaldo is one footballer who started from nothing to something, from sweeping the streets to owning the streets. His story is inspiring, but despite all the obstacles, he manages to get to the top, and funny how when you feel he should be comfortable with how much he has achieved only for him to fight and struggle to achieve even more. Currently, I would say he is unstoppable and has a record of the male footballer with the highest goals he would hold onto for a very long time, as it would be difficult to break alongside many other records. He has a Guinness record for how rapid his YouTube channel grew in 24 hours, alongside many other Guinness records. He is just full of surprises; when you feel you have seen enough of him, he shows you that he is just getting started.
