We had to go our separate ways.

Hello, everyone.

We meet new people every day; some stay and some leave at some point in our lives. For one reason or another, we are forced to move on without some people. It hurts to actually lose bonds; sometimes we lose even bonds we want to keep, and we cannot do anything; rather, we just have to live with it and move on. Sometimes the pain that comes with losing a bond forces us to try and do everything possible to make sure a bond or friendship does not go sour, but in the end we realize that when you try to stop a bond from going sour but the other party does not mind if it goes sour or not, we will only hurt yourself.

I am somebody who really does not like noisy environments; I like and enjoy my peace and hate when my peace is disturbed. Anything that will disturb my peace or put me in a position where I become the center of attraction, I try to avoid. When I gained admission into the university, I was made to understand that you just cannot do the university alone as much as you cannot do life alone, hence the need to start making friends, and that is how I became friends with a guy called Chimezie. Chimezie was a complete opposite of me. Chimezie likes to be in the spotlight; he likes when the whole class is looking in his direction, and this always caused us to have issues because whenever you try to talk him out of it, you hear him say either you are jealous of him or envious of him.

Chimezie is that type of friend that feels he is always right and every other person is wrong. This attitude of his made it very difficult to deal with him, but it did not stop him from being a good friend. He might be difficult to deal with; he will always turn up whenever he is called upon. With every opportunity Chimezie gets, he wants to make mountains out of mere hills. An issue that can be resolved calmly, he tries to make it look like it is a very big issue and it is annoying. For the fact he has a good heart and has the interest of friends and family at heart, we all kept tolerating his attitude since we already realized he was not willing to change for any reason, but we all have our limits, and once pushed beyond our limit, we could take drastic measures that can result in negative changes.

He is the type that chews loudly too, and this is the worst of all. We attended a party once, and his chewing was so loud and calling attention from everyone nearby, and this guy did not care. Instead, his response after we called his attention was, The people should look if they have not seen somebody chew before. I was disappointed and forced to leave; that is how our friendship waxed cold and we had to go out separate ways. If we eventually bump into each other, we just say hi and everyone is off.

Thanks for reading my post.

🤣🤣🤣🤣because of small chewing?
You’ve cut someone off?
This hard economy, if he has gotten goat, should he chew it silently?🤣

😂😂
The chewing pushed everything beyond limit, it was not just the chewing 😂.

🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your story is fascinating 😁😁, but on a more serious note, chewing out loud is irritating and more embarrassing when it's done in public. Those who do it, they have no shame oo. They can get defensive too when you try to correct them.

I bet he licked his fingers on top too😁😁😁😁

😂😂

Your last lines made it sound like you were there too 😂.
