For this Week 118 of the Hive Music Festival, I will be performing a piano cover of {We Honour You} by Nathaniel Bassey, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer and pastor. Nathaniel Bassey is widely known for his positive impact on the lives of both believers and unbelievers through his music ministry to be specific. Out of his numerous inspiring songs, I chose this powerful worship piece for my performance.
This song holds a special place in my heart because it deeply connects me to God, especially during prayers. I love it so much that I even set it as my ringtone, as a constant reminder of how honorable and faithful God has been in my life and for that I don't take it for granted.
When I reflect on all that I have been through, I can boldly say that God has always had my back. His grace upon my life cannot be overemphasized. There were times when I almost gave up because of life’s challenges, moments when my phone was stolen, when I was betrayed by friends, rejected by family, or when I went days without good food. Despite all these, God has been faithful. He has never left me and is always there whenever I need Him.
He is the only one that will not turn His back on you whenever you call on him.
