Every single time,I sit back and think about all the movies, cartoons I'll see after this. I think about all the books, comics and mangas I'll read after this. After this..exam.
In the meanwhile, since I can't start anything new,I decided to just try to rewatch a series. I remember just before I went to college,I was so ready to leave my house and at the same time not.
Looking back at it all now,I can't help but regret not knowing better. Not as if I could've known or anything since I didn't have anyone older to tell me about how it was going to be,I was just excited cause what I saw on tv series and movies seemed so full of...life. And I wanted to feel full of life.
Those highschool/ college movies and series lied a lot man. Thinking about it some times pisses me off but then I remember, that there was a time I liked it so much.
Alright,so let's dive into the black teen series,Grownish. I'm hearing I'm supposed to watch blackish first before this and I didn't do that, unfortunately for me. But no worries, I'll rewatch everything and start from blackish;)

Grownish is a series that revolves around the Johnson family's eldest daughter,Zoey, as she navigates her college life at Cal U.
Zoey Johnson, the eldest daughter of the Johnson family, is off to college at Cal U, and she's ready to take on the world. Or so she thinks. She quickly realizes that college life isn't all about parties and hookups, but also about navigating relationships, academic pressures, and finding your own identity.
Zoey's love life is a hot mess, disaster, call it whichever. She starts dating Aaron, a junior and a member of a prestigious fraternity, but their relationship is put to the test when they have to navigate power dynamics, trust issues, and personal growth. Aaron's got his own set of issues, including a complicated past and a tendency to be a bit controlling.
Meanwhile, Zoey's friends are dealing with their own dramas. Ana, the conservative and outspoken Republican, is struggling to come to terms with her own identity, including her sexuality and cultural heritage. Her storyline is both poignant and empowering, offering a nuanced portrayal of Latinx identity.
Nomi, the queer and outspoken artist, is navigating her own relationships and identity crises. She's got a complicated past with her family, and she's still figuring out who she is and what she wants.

Luca, the charming and laid-back artist, is Zoey's go-to guy for advice and support. He's got his own set of issues, including a complicated past with his family and a tendency to be a bit too laid-back.
Throughout the series, the gang navigates a range of timely and thought-provoking topics, including police brutality, systemic racism, and mental health. They also deal with more relatable issues, like relationships, friendships, and finding your own identity.
