It looks like a very charming city! It reminds me a lot of The Hague, but as I look at the map, it is close to it, so it does have the same style... Canals are the trademark of that part of the Netherlands, but seeing that the water level is so high, it does raise questions about rains and potential floods?! Btw. I'm not sure that I would park my car so close to the water, without having any fence... 😂

An excellent exercise in self-knowledge and reflection. Indeed, we all have parts of our personality that we consider negative and we would like to change. I identify a lot with the three defects that you expose here and you made me laugh with that your father called you a vigilante. The same thing happened to me and the same thing keeps happening to me! The positive thing is that we are always in time to unlearn bad behaviours and replace them with those we want to achieve. Writing about them, as you do here, is a therapeutic and healing way to start. Thank you for sharing it.

Oh, just reading your review of the movie I got me excited. It's also one of my favorite movies. As you narrated the plot, the scenes appeared in my mind, even some dialogues. It's a beautiful love story that stirs inside. The role of Whoopi Goldberg is the perfect counterpoint to her comedy moments, and thank goodness they introduced them to be able to breathe a little from time to time, hehe. This movie is what I call a "modern classic", one of those films that you have to see at least once in your life.
