Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
Change is something that is inevitable in human life. As humans, one thing we should look forward to is change. When we talk about change, what usually comes to the mind of some individuals is something very big and sometimes impossible, but that might not really be the case most times.
For some people, the change they might need for their growth is to wake up earlier than they used to, go to their workplace, business, or school much earlier. While for some, all the change they need is to become intentional and start calling or messaging some people that matter to them.
However, whatever the change we need, one needs to first accept their lapses in that area and have a willing heart for growth.
As the year comes to an end, I was reflecting on how my year went and things I must do differently to make the incoming year better and fruitful for me. I realized that there are some things I need to change and restrategize on.
Become intentional about my relationship with God
Most times I get so busy and tired that sometimes I forget to read my Bible, or when I do, I just read a chapter or two. I realized that on days I wake up very early to read my Bible before going about my daily activities, I get to read six or more chapters of the Bible. So for a change I have decided that as much as possible I would read and study my Bible every morning before going about my day, and this means I would have to wake up much earlier than I used to.
The same goes for my prayer and meditation time.
Take out time to rest
I have formed that habit of "I must do this thing right now" ; as much as it's good, it also has its own disadvantages. Because I am mostly bent on doing some things, I hardly make out time to rest. This has made me break down on different occasions, those things were not done, and the world didn't come to an end.
So for a change in 2025, I am going to set out the time and day that I would rest and unwind.
Prioritizing family time
While I have spent some good time with my family, it has always been indoors. I want to begin the culture of the family going out together. This would increase our bond, aid our growth process, and impact our interpersonal relationship. I know the family unit is an integral part of society, and it is the birthing and nurturing platform for society. Any and every good man or woman is traced to a family. The same applies to an irresponsible man or woman.
So if I must get my children raised right, then I have to prioritize family time.
Change most times seems difficult, but with the right mindset, it is achievable.
