Not Another Crisis

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗

Cleo was looking all tired and stressed, sitting in front of her mirror, trying to clean the makeup off her face to rest for the night. Her phone buzzed with a text from her mom:

Please, I need your help. Hurry up and come to the house.

Cleo groaned, not another crisis.

She had had a hectic day at work, and what she needed at the moment was a good shower and sleep.

Meanwhile, her younger sister April has been going in and out of the hospital lately due to her health challenge. She was confirmed to have sickle cell anemia after a series of blood tests were done on her.

She dressed up, took her car keys, and drove straight to her mom's house. The look on her mom's face made her more worried.

Her mom explained the situation on the ground: It's your sister; she has been in her room for over 7 hours; she locked the door and is not letting anyone in. She hasn't eaten or taken her medicine.

Cleo took a deep breath and went straight to April's room and knocked on the door. Hey sweetie I understand what you are going through, and I know it hasn't been easy on you, but I want you to know that you have all of my and mom's love and support. Please don't be too hard on yourself.

Battling sickle cell anemia is not easy o. The series of illnesses that will come one after the other can make one lose hope

Seriously it's not easy, they go through a lot that can't be explained

So true and the pain is indescribable.
