The rehearsal for the inauguration of the OSIS management is a practice or simulation activity to ensure that the entire series of inauguration events run smoothly and according to plan. Usually, the rehearsal is held one or several days before the official inauguration event.
In this rehearsal, all prospective OSIS management and the committee involved will follow the sequence of events from beginning to end, starting from preparations for the arrival of participants, the opening ceremony, reading the oath or oath of office, to the closing. Everyone will practice their respective duties, including the flag bearer, the oath taker, to those who will hand over their positions.
The purpose of this rehearsal is to ensure that all participants know their duties and positions so that on the day of the inauguration they can carry out their duties with confidence and without confusion. With a thorough rehearsal, the inauguration event can run solemnly, orderly, and successfully.
The OSIS (Intra-School Student Organization) management is usually inaugurated by the Principal. In the inauguration ceremony, the Principal gives an oath and promise to the elected OSIS management to carry out their duties and responsibilities as student leaders at school. In addition, the vice principal, OSIS mentor teacher, or other officials at the school can also be involved in this process as witnesses or supporters.
