In my view, schools play an important role in promoting a clean environment through a variety of teaching activities.
First, they emphasise the importance of a healthy environment and demonstrate how our activities affect it. Pollution, waste management, and the importance of conserving natural resources have all been taught to me in science and social studies classes. This understanding helps me realise why it is critical to maintain our surroundings clean, not just for us, but also for future generations.
Furthermore, schools urge us to adopt environmentally responsible practices by installing recycling bins and organising activities such as clean-up campaigns. Participating in these activities allows me to obtain firsthand knowledge in environmental protection. It is empowering to participate in clearing up litter or planting trees around.
