ย  Greetings my favorite Otakus that give life to the @theanimerealm Universe. How is your weekend going? Mine is a bit quieter than usual so I'm taking advantage of it to rest as much as possible. February has come with some unexpected emotional blows and I need to recover my good energies and raise my vibe.

ย  That's why I decided to take into account the recommendations left in my last post and I'm starting to take the issue of watching anime series with more calm and less commitment but without leaving aside my desire as a good Otaku I consider myself. This time I decided to dedicate this post to this new anime that just premiered a few weeks ago and is on fire for the plot, it's about: Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective.

SepNeon (1).gif

1015472.jpg

ย  This series hooked me with the first episode and this time I wanted to go with what appealed to me visually and without pressure. I wanted to watch something different, waiting for my long-awaited premiere of the next season of Kimetsu No Yaiba, I was looking for something like this with substance and depth that would entertain me from the start.

ย  The name of the series caught my attention, the truth is that I had never seen an anime series that had to do with doctors and cases as dramatic as those series I usually watch on Universal Channel. I honestly started watching it with the idea that it would be something like this anime, but I got a big surprise just with the first episode, and even more with the second one.

1387773.png

ย  The medical series that show the lives of doctors have always caught my attention, I have learned a lot and somehow they make me maintain a special connection with my grandfather (may he rest in peace) who in life was an exceptional doctor as a pulmonologist.

ย  As for me, I was not so enthusiastic about studying medicine, but I was attracted to psychology, nursing, or physiotherapy. In the end, I studied something completely different, systems engineering. And well, back to the subject, science and medical topics usually call my attention, so I didn't hesitate to give this anime a chance, which intrigued me a lot.

1387781.png

ย  This series is described and compared to the iconic story of Doctor House, a medical genius who is in charge of solving and curing extremely difficult cases in the hospital where he works. However, to me, it was something else, to tell the truth, a mixture of this character with another one that captivated me as the protagonist of The Good Doctor.

ย  I don't know if any of you have ever seen one of these cool medical series but the truth is that for me this anime was so special because of the main character who reminds me a lot of Shaun Murphy and at the same time is smart enough to see far beyond any symptom to find the solution to a disease like Dr. House.

1387778.png

ย  Our protagonist Takao Ameku, besides being a medical genius, is also very intuitive, and calculating and manages to solve crimes that occur in the area where she lives, which makes her part of a female version of Sherlock Holmes.

ย  The first chapter is quite intriguing and the solution they give in the next episode is loaded with a lot of logic and above all facts that are backed up with science. Although for some the characters may give the impression of talking too much, it seems to me that everything they say is necessary and they explain in a simple way something that may sound very complicated if you don't understand medical terms.

1387772.png

ย  Another aspect that I found quite curious is that Takao Ameku gives me the impression that he is Asperger. This is due to his hypersensitivity to loud noises, his lack of interest in relating to the people around him, his focus only on doing his job splendidly, and above all this genius effect that happens when he solves a case definitively.

ย  In the series they make it look like he goes into some kind of trance or disconnects but this is what makes it special. Just being the way she is, with this incredible level of genius and it's another thing that makes me admire Japanese culture even more, that they see people with this condition as someone normal and they treat them that way, even showing them a lot of respect that they do. But they never show him pity or compassion for being this way.

ย  So if you have the opportunity to watch it, I recommend you to do so, without hesitation. It is a different series, visually appealing for its artistic designs and above all for the plot that unfolds in it. It is currently on air but I think it is worth the wait to watch it weekly. This anime for me is super good and I see it becoming popular soon if it is not already. For my part I give it:

What do you think about the following review of this show? https://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=550595

Well to me it seemed more like The Good Doctor series, even though it's on air, I think it's a very harsh criticism for this anime that has potential. I wanted to see something different, no comedy, no over-the-top drama or romance and I came across this series, so it met my expectations.

In the case of that guy, he definitely didn't like it but he took his time to trash it with his opinion. If I don't like something, I don't comment or review it. Unless it's over-the-top bad as was the case with The Substance and the horror version of Winnie the Pooh. Cheers! thanks for stopping by and commenting! ๐Ÿงก

...he took his time to trash it with his opinion.

Arguably, he took very little time as his review is short and concise. It seems humble to me. So what if review is negative if it is accurate and fair?

If I don't like something, I don't comment or review it.

Fair enough, but I do, because if I had misfortune of wasting my time on unworthy show, I might as well write a review (as a warning) to save others from disappointment of wasting time, so they won't have to watch it by mistake.

Also, people might enjoy exactly the things I don't like (e.g. hyperbolic melodrama and violence) so even negative reviews can help them to make decisions regarding various shows. And for that matter, negative reviews are frequently much more useful than positive ones, because more often than not, positive reviews praise unworthy garbage without telling anything worth knowing.
For some reasons beyond my understanding, even the most terrible shows have overwhelmingly positive reviews, probably to lure viewers with misrepresentation of those shows.

Negative reviews are often more trustworthy than positive ones, precisely because reviewers who did not like those shows cared to leave fair warnings to others regarding important properties that viewers should be aware of.

Finally, there are too many shows, far beyond anyone's ability to process in the lifetime. And according to Pareto principle, most of them are garbage, so viewers' main challenge is filtering, therefore negative reviews are of greater value than positive ones.

Ok, well, if you notice that my content in this community is not to your liking, just go ahead and look for some negative and/or positive criticism that fits what you want to read or see and everything will be fine.

Everyone's opinion is different and I respect that. Every opinion is valid. I'm just a person who likes to watch movies, series, and anime, so I usually post about those that I like a lot. I'm not a professional and I don't take into account the reviews on pages like this from the kind of people who work formally in that.

If they recommend or criticize a movie, I prefer to watch it and draw my conclusions. If I liked it, fine, and if I didn't like it, it would be fine too.

Now if I see that something doesn't grab me from the beginning, I simply leave it and look for something else where my time will be really useful. So in that aspect, if you don't like something from the beginning, stop watching it and move on to something more to your liking. Greetings and thanks for stopping by my blog. ๐Ÿงก

Thanks for advice. I typically prefer to finish what I started to watch, but occasionally I stop watching if I happened to pick truly awful unendurable show. And watching shows you don't like is valid if the show is interesting, or when you hope that redeeming qualities balance negatives, or when you want to know how the story ends. Finishing shows is also helpful for fairness of review, as judging on insufficient sample may be unfair.

No, not "every opinion is valid" when it can be determined whether opinion is correct. Here is an awesome quote about that: https://ecency.com/@onlyjob/everyone-has-a-right-to

"Thanks for stopping by my blog" but "don't comment to my content when it is not to your liking" (re-phrased). Noted. :-(
However, comments under your public posts are not just for you but also for other readers who might be inspired by conversation. If you don't like my comments then you can just safely ignore them without replying.

I honestly didn't know how to react to what you wrote to me. I understand that you didn't like my content and didn't agree with it either. I have met many toxic users within Hive, and I prefer to stay away from them.

This platform is big enough for everyone. It works for me as long as everyone goes their way without bothering the other. Now if everything you said to me was because I made a big impact on you and you wanted to make it clear that you think the series sucks, then I accept your opinion. But you don't have to be so technical with me when writing.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't enter the link you left. Another detail about my way of being is that I take the time to read every one of the comments left in my posts. Even if it takes me a while to respond, I also take my time to respond to every one of them. If I don't respond, at least I give a vote to make it clear that I read your message. Again, thanks for commenting, and have a nice day.

Thanks for replying. You misunderstood completely. I don't dislike your content. I find it interesting. Otherwise why would I bother commenting? I sincerely hope that you are not suggesting that I am a "toxic person". I also try to respond to meaningful comments. (It is beyond my understanding where you've got the idea that I dislike your content... I don't recall down-voting your posts.)

Did my link not open? Perhaps it was a glitch... Here is direct link to PeakD so it should work for you: https://peakd.com/hive-110000/@onlyjob/everyone-has-a-right-to
Would you try the link again please? It is very short and hopefully thoughts-provoking. Thanks.

Aha but what is the point of all these comments of yours? what do you want me to adapt my opinion and agree with you? because if I may say so, although I don't consider you as someone toxic, with all this excessive and unnecessary information just for a post about an anime seems a bit extreme to me.

No need to downvote, just go to another profile and harass someone else with your content. I will leave you alone for my part. I'm very sorry if my comments left on your posts made you think I want to engage in some sort of friendship with you.

As I said, there is lots but very much room within hive. If you see something I do that bothers you, go your way. I on my part don't, I'm not open to accepting any more destructive or negative criticism in my life. I've had enough of that.

Thank you for sharing this post with the community and for preferring us, it is a pleasure for us to have you here.

We hope to see you soon. Best regards!

Thanks to you for this great space, greetings! ๐Ÿงก

I had heard thanks to a friend that this anime has stuff from Doctor House, a series I watched and loved back in the day. I think I don't need any more incentive to watch Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective, I will definitely watch it.

The good thing is that it is still on the air, it premiered recently and I sincerely think it has the potential to be different. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, if you watch it, I'd love to read your review, don't forget to tag me in it, regards! ๐Ÿงก
