Β  Greetings to all the Awesome Otaku in the @theanimerealm Community, how's your day going? Mine was a bit hectic. I've been busier than usual all week, and since I haven't had much time, I was hesitant to bring you a post today. However, I opted to watch a film that was recommended to me around here, called: Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki or The Wolf Children.

Β  I don't remember which user of this community recommended it, what I do remember is that his impression of this film captivated me so much that I said: I must see it at some point. And just today was that moment. If you get to read me mysterious user whose name I don't remember I want to thank you for making this suggestion that turned out to be a Jewel of a Movie.

Β  The Wolf Children is a film made by the famous Ghibli Studios, and I must emphasize this from the beginning since they are responsible for bringing us such memorable stories as The Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, The Princess Monoke, The Voyage of Chihiro, my favorite The Tale of the Princess Kaguya and their most recent production: The Boy and the Heron.

Β  Each of these films that I named marked me in a significant way. The fact is that this film studio has the peculiarity of maintaining its style not only in the design of its drawings and characters but also in the development of the plots of each one of these beautiful stories they bring us.

Β  This is of utmost importance to me and I value the fact that they maintain their impeccable taste for fine arts and that more than a beautiful story, they always strive to leave an important message to the viewer, a teaching that inspires you to practice it in your daily life and motivates you to be a better person.

Β  Particularly this film became my second favorite as I can't take the top spot away from the heartwarming story of Princess Kaguya. However, giving it a second place on my list also makes it special. But special to me why? Well, for the simple fact that it is closely related to a wolf story.

Β  Wolves to me are amazing and special creatures. They mean a lot to me and I identify with their nature, I mean, simply put, they are my favorite animal of all time, which is partly why I love dogs more than cats. If you've read my previous posts, you know what I'm talking about.

Β  And what is the story of this very special movie about? Well, it tells the story of Hana, a girl who falls in love with a Werewolf and that by circumstances of life or rather, his instincts, dies suddenly and the girl is left in charge of raising two children who are half wolf and half human.

Β  Because the children are unable to hide their nature from society and as a precautionary measure to prevent them from suffering if they are discovered, he decides to take them to live in the countryside. Here these children are happier than ever and begin the adventure of their lives as they discover what they are capable of achieving because of their nature and instincts.

Β  What I loved the most was watching the story development of Hana as the mother of Yuki, a fearless girl loaded with excess energy eager to live life to the fullest every day every day and Ame, the younger brother who is the complete opposite of Yuki, introverted to the max and hates being half wolf.

Β  For the way the story develops, the general plot with such romantic and simple touches, showing how simple and delicate life can be but above all for how good a mother Hana was with her children, to the point that when they both grew up she let them make their own decision of how they wanted to live their lives, whether as wolves or humans. I for one award its full five stars from 5 Little Golden Stars. They are very well deserved and this film, therefore, comes highly recommended by me.

This movie is very beautiful, it started out powerful and I felt a little sad, but it teaches us to let our children do what their heart dictates, without chains ❀️

That's right. Children are of life. And Hana's were not quite human. So their maturity came sooner than usual. I think that's the impact of having to let them decide that magnitude at such a young human age. Thanks for stopping by and commenting beautiful, regards to your grumpy owl. πŸ’•
