An old farmhouse was converted into a pop-up restaurant.
They did such an excellent job, combining the old with the new, that upon entry, one can feel the aura of the original inhabitants many years ago in history.
Now this is for all of you across the world that like to travel. Imagine sitting in a fine restaurant that is surrounded by nature. Listening to the tales of days gone by and relaxing with a glass of top brand wine. Being served with food prepared by professional chefs in a friendly ambience. Or maybe sitting in a private room laid out with silver cutlery and fine porcelain old style dishes for those intimate moments. So, if South Africa is your destination, then make sure to visit the Western Cape Province, and put this restaurant on your bucket list. We also encourage fellow Saffers to pop in here for a 5-star meal.
The front wall of the old house was decorated in a rustic farm implements style. This is the dining section underneath the new canopy attached to the front of the house.
So, now step inside the old house with us.
It is now winter here, and that fire set-up was the first beautiful view that you will see.
A closer look at the fire. Those blue enamel kettles that you see, contain the original farm style coffee.
Did I tell you that this restaurant is on a wine estate?
When that old oil lamp, on the table, is lit in this private dining room, it will make for a great romantic setting.
We like the old-style adornments hung up under the roofs. Those branches are actual old grape vines.
Too much to show you and my wife waved a goodbye to all of you from her perch out in the late sun.

We unfortunately did not have the time to sit down for a meal, as we just popped in to have a look and get some photos for you. I like to explore, and when I saw the new direction signs to the pop-up restaurant, my inquisitive mind led us there. Let me tell you that it was a lovely discovery, and I am glad that we can show you this. The wine farm also has two other permanent restaurants, as well as a lovely tea garden in-between the rose bushes. If you love walking, this farm is for you as you can stroll around for miles and view the sights.
