So, now we have had the latest full moon, and I have a few shots of it.
I liked this tag shot, as the sky was clear, and we struggle with cloudy night skies here.
There are also a few random sunset shots, just to get some color in the post.
A poem to share with you.
The moon begins her stately ride
Across the summer sky;
The happy wavelets lash the shore,
The tide is rising high.
Beneath some friendly blade of grass
The lazy beetle cowers;
The coffers of the air are filled
With offerings from the flowers.
And slowly buzzing o’er my head
A swallow wings her flight;
I hear the weary plowman sing
As falls the restful night.

This below is the best that I could get of the full moon.
And now for a sunset colors interlude.
Here she came with a lovely colored hair do.
Looked like she would drop into the bucket of the light at our driveway.
A shiny silver ball pierced the thin cloudy sky.
Oh yes, the cloudy curtains were drawn to show her full beauty.
I always have a wonderful time waiting for her, just me and mother moon alone, and she whispers the truths in the heavenly realm to me. We share our scars from life's onslaught, and hers are so much more ancient than mine. She has been around since the beginning of time, while my journey is but a breath in time on this planet. Her major lesson to me is endurance, regardless of the constant buffeting of life, and I share her radiant smiles. Softly and in silence she makes her way hiding her power in the ocean tides. Whispering, or stormy tides she controls without fanfare, or seeking the limelight, as she has her own, and she is competition with nothing, as she just continues to do her own thing. Yet the nightlife in nature cannot do without her. And so, it is.
I think by now that you have seen that I am in one of those pensive minds that is always the effects of a full moon on my mind.
