Absurdistan

Belgium, it’s my country, but it’s complicated. We have 5 governments for 11,6 million people, speak 3 different languages in 4 different communities. That is in short the big reason why our country is so badly governed.

7 months after the last election, we still don’t have a federal government. Because of wide indifferences between the different communities. But we also have a budget deficit of 30 billion EUR. Which needs fast action, and we also have the gold medal of taxation in the world. So what is happening with all those tax Euros?

Research agency

An independent research agency was commanded to research if the 66 billion EUR of subsidies our country spends on all sorts of projects, NGO’s and corporations are well spent. Well, surprise surprise, the research agency couldn’t untie the knot. They have no clue in who’s hands the money ends. They reported a staggering outcome. Nobody knows where our 66 billions of tax Euros end up.

No wonder we pay the highest taxes in the world and still have a huge deficit…
