Bots flooding the threads comment section…

I don’t know what to think about it

The last week I have noticed a weird thing happening here on threads. People that know me, know that I love to post memes in threads. And usually I get some comments on those, nothing out of the ordinary.

But recently, I have been getting comments that ere obviously bots. With a one sentence comment, and from accounts without any avatar or photo, and with 25 reputation.

I don’t know what to think about this, are they aming for an upvote? What is the point in doing this?

It is really strange to me, not that it bothers me, I am just very curious about what is behind it…

Could be that they hope for an engagement vote, if they do it 100 times maybe they get 1-5 votes?

This tech is not perfect, I have seen some weaknesses too... but the fact that everything I write here stays forever and I get rewarded in LasseCash is enough for me to keep going :)

If you know that then why do you delete all the text in your most embarrassing posts which prove how idiotic you are? Just go down your @lasseehlers profile and look at all the posts titled "deleted". And that's only what you think is crap you are now ashamed of. Why you keep the other shitposts untouched baffles me. I think the fact that @weedbook's posts warning people about how unethical and deceitful you are remaining up is more valuable.

Then stand by that. Don't make any more posts tagging the Hive whales whining about how you don't get rewarded for promoting crypto scams and pseudoscience.
