Christine Lagarde
Christine Lagarde is the president of the European Central Bank, and today she declared at the usual press conference that the ECB lowers the deposit rate with a quarter basis points to 3 %. This is the fourth rate cut this year. We went from 4 to 3 %, all in an effort to give the European economy a boost, which is desperately needed. As the projected growth rate for the European Union has once again been downgraded from 0,8 to 0,7 %.
The projections for the growth in the EU in 2025 and 2026 have also been lowered.
As the EU is in an economic rut!
And there was also a very weird intermezzo by Christine Lagarde about climate change…
Climate Change and inflation???
Apparently, according to Lagarde there is a link between climate change and inflation. She says that droughts and erosion? cause inflation…
A very weird reasoning by the biggest leader of the banking system in Europe. I can’t see the link… If you ask me, the main reason for inflation is the excessive money creation by the central banks!
Sincerely,
