As I have already mentioned a couple of times, I like HIVE meetups and I have attended almost a dozen... Some of them were bigger ones, like HiveFest in Amsterdam, HiveBeeCon in Krakow, or BuzzParty in Hamburg, but the rest were small meetups (one-on-one) with other Hivians around the world, like with @jesuslnrs and @jhoxiris in Madrid, @xaviduran in Valencia, @palomap3 and @ninaeatshere in Zaragoza, @amico in Italy, @ewkaw in Portugal, @edprivat in Spain, @alt3r and her boyfriend in Serbia, etc. But, I have never organized a "bigger" meetup, with more than 1-2 people, from different places, so doing it, made me appreciate even more people who were organizing them in the past... Thanks, guys, and girls for all your effort...
Long story short, I get an idea to try to create one! That's how the idea was born and that's why we will have this meetup in Novi Sad, Serbia! It is open for everyone to join, but as it is in the middle of "vacation season" (including myself on vacation), we will have a smaller meetup! But still, it will connect people who are living in different parts of the world and country, but also different nationalities... That's HIVE! We should have people from the Netherlands and Spain, but also people from Belgrade, and some other places from Vojvodina! We will meet some new Hivians and meet again some old friends too!

THE PLAN for Saturday, August 17th, Novi Sad, Serbia!
Just a few organizational information! As we will be a small group, everything that you find under these lines is subject to change if we decide differently... What is fixed is our meeting point and the time of this "historical" Hive meetup 😃 🍻
10:30 - 11:00 - HIVE Meetup Point, Cafe Restaurant Masha, Zmaj Jovina 4, Novi Sad. Map details We can drink a coffee, or some refreshing drink before our tour around the city... This cafe is very close to the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, which is very easy to find as it is in the city center.
11:00-14:30 - Sightseeing of Novi Sad and Petrovaradin Fortress... We will have a lot of time for talking, taking photos, and making some great memories during the walk...
15:00-17:30 - Launch in Sremski Karlovci to escape from the heat of the city asphalt! I know that I have mentioned Fruska Gora as an option, but in the end, after some great recommendations for a restaurant, I went for the Danube river banks in a traditionally decorated place!
17:30 - ??? Time for sightseeing in the third place on the same day! Sremski Karlovci is a town I haven't visited either, but I heard that it is gorgeous... This will be a perfect time to explore it and learn more about it!

- If you can't make it to the meeting point, write down where and when you will come and I (or someone else) will come to pick you up... Train station, bus station, etc.
- If you want, you can leave your Discord or Telegram address in the comment section for easier coordination before the meeting point...
- Bring with you a hat, sunglasses, and a bottle of water as the sun is burning... 😎
If you can't make it to the meeting point, but you can make it during the afternoon, you are more than welcome to join us...
