What a wonderful day to see many students who graduated yesterday and I so appreciate the big smiles on their faces. Although it is not my graduation day, I am wearing this Graduation gown for the 42nd Commencement Exercises as I mentioned in my previous post.
It may have been three years since I graduated from the Institute of Post-Graduate Studies education, but it seems I have the same feelings and emotions as how I see them receiving their diplomas, awards, and all. The ceremony started at 1 pm yesterday and ended at exactly 5 pm. After we had a photo opportunity together with my fellow professors, I decided to go to a studio in the city and I wanted it to be framed.
The commencement exercise was held at a nearby mall so I got the chance to have a photoshoot after the event. I had many options but I chose the studio where there were only less people. Meanwhile, I went upstairs and remembered that there was still one more studio there so even if that was far from the spot I was standing, I reached my destination and decided to have a studio package with a joyful heart.
And my decision to go there was truly the best. I was not the only one who was there. There were also other customers availing other services. And I was lucky enough to be accommodated by the staff. While I was at the studio, I was taking a lot of selfies as I wore my Graduation gown. Although I have already graduated and reached the highest educational attainment, it was still the same feeling as how I have seen many students who graduated during the 42nd Commencement Exercises.
And here I am in my selfie with a candid shot. Perhaps I felt so delighted as I had another portrait to be placed on one of the walls in our house. My parents were so happy seeing me with this portrait and they have also framed it in our common house where I was dwelling when I was younger.
