HoloCure is really addictive | Gameplay video with Commentary

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I have been playing a lot of HoloCure lately. I talked about the game in this post. Today, I tried recording a run for my YouTube channel.

I talked about the game in this video and showed you a run where I tried to complete the third stage which I never tried yet. I am still kind of a newbie in the game and there are a lot of upgrades yet to be made. I cleared Stage 1 and Stage 2 yesterday which unlocked Stage 3 and the Hard mode of Stage 1. So, the game only has three different stages but with varying difficulties.

You can find a lot more variety in the characters and weapons in the game. Each character has 3 unique skills, one unique weapon and a special skill. They also have different stats as some have good base crit chance while others might have a good base attack damage.

Let me share the video with you. Ignore the crappy voice quality, I am trying to get a better Mic so my audio can be improved.

I chose Mori Calliope as my character, she wields a Scythe Swing, which deals melee attack damage in a forward arc. She is one of the default characters in the game and I kind of loved the swinging Scythe which after some more levels deals a lot of area damage. But it falls flat in runs with a lot of bosses. They take a lot of time to kill with this weapon and that's the mistake I made in this run.

I didn't realise that this stage will have these many bosses. There were bosses after every few minutes. It makes sense that this is the third and final unique stage of the game. Anyways, you can hear my commentary and reactions as I encountered new enemy types and tough bosses.

I particularly liked the ghost bat with a weird smile. He comes with a lot of little bats, while they are easier to kill with my Scythe, this Ghost-bat wasn't quick. It took a lot of time.

At least the ghost-bat died but I can't say that for this next boss.

This was a knight with the shield. It had a lot of hp and the minions also had a lot of health. It took three swipes of my Scythe to kill one little guy, no wonder it must take hundreds for the big guy. But I didn't get a chance to see that and I got overwhelmed by all the enemies. It happened quite fast and under 10 mins.

I was thinking that the ten-minute mark would be a challenge. But it didn't even get there. Looks like I need to change my strategy for the next run. I should use the one which throws the dice, that one character has a 10% base crit chance and I can have a built with Crit chance and Crit damage. It would be fun.

Also, please watch the video and give me some suggestions on how I can improve it. I know there are a lot of things to be improved. My horrible English and speaking skills with a crappy mic being the biggest culprit. But if you have any other suggestions that I can implement in the videos, let me know. I would appreciate it if you could leave a like on the YouTube video as well. I am trying to focus a bit more on my YouTube Channel. Okay, enough with the self-promotion, let me know if you played this type of hoard management Roguelite games and which ones are your favourites if any.

I am having a blast with this one. So far it has been really addictive and fun.

Thanks for reading!

Nice view and good afternoon for today.

Thanks and Good night

Nice name! :D

LOL. Games with Holo in their name do well. 😉

Man, this video game looks awesome, I've played a few that are of the genre that so far have been very cool, especially vampire survivors which was a very epic video game, I remember playing it a lot on my phone, your video was great bro, the audio sounded pretty good.

I can only enjoy this kind of games when I see gameplay or read posts, I have no doubt that if I only played for 10 minutes I would be very excited and I don't have enough time to do that hahaha I know my limits and my vices so I try to avoid them at least for now.

Nice gameplay prabesh. You got a good voice.
Good luck with defeating bosses.😆

Thank you @th4488. (I hate my voice)

🤣

These games are a total vice. I remember when Vampire Survivors came out, which was one of the first of this genre, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. But then I was encouraged to try them and God, I was all night playing and even today when I see one of this genre I keep it to play it in the future haha. They are great games, simple but addictive and somewhat challenging.

My reaction was the same when I saw Vampire Survivor but when you play it you realise how fun these games can be.

Hey Pravesh (I mean I'm replying to your commentary, lol). I see you're doing good ripping the heard of your fans apart. Don't get too addictive as it might dangerous for health.

These fans are possessed by something evil and we have to cure them (by killing them? lol)

we have to cure them (by killing them? lol)

Not that's dark, lol.
