Let's Look at Outposts in theHunter: Call of the Wild

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I have shared a lot of nature shots from theHunter: Call of the Wild game but today, I decided to showcase some of the manmade structures, more specifically the outposts. As you might know, this game is about hunting in different biomes based on the real-life locations and natural biomes found in different countries. Each map represents a portion of a specific country.

I would like to start with a basic outpost found in Vurhongha Savannah. It is just a fancy tent made from mostly wood and plastic sheets. A temporary structure which I guess doesn't harm the environment too much. There are outposts which are much more fancy and grandeur than this one in other maps.

The interior includes a basic bed, a couple of tables and chairs. Just the bare minimum. Even this is a bit luxury if you consider the name of the game, 'Call of the Wild'. Not much wild... is it?

For the next one, let me take you to Europe in the Hirschfelden Hunting reserve, located somewhere in Germany I suppose.

It looks much better from the outside than the inside. The bright red colour on the outside goes well with the autumn-themed reserve. But the interior is dull and mostly boring.

The only part I love about the interior is the curtains on the windows. They have Bison and deer on them. Well suited for this environment and these little details make the game much more enjoyable.

A similar lodge design is found in Yukon Valley Nature Reserve. These are much more basic where the walls are entirely made from logs.

Similar curtains can be seen inside it. The only difference is the type of animal depicted. They have Grizzly Bears on the top row and at the bottom one row of Moose on top of a row of Bears.

Most of the outposts in this reserve are similar but they look much different when you see them in snow. Those green leaves and grasses would get covered during snowfall and this is what the same structure looks like.

Let me take you to the Australian map, Emerald Coast. This one came out less than a couple of years ago and has one of the most varied outpost designs.

My favourite is this polygon-style outpost, not sure if it is pentagon or Hexagon. But this one is two-storied and the bed is on the first floor along with a lot of other amenities.

It doesn't look like the interior will be this furnished. But it is, they still used the same bed model which they used in some of the other maps but the tables and flooring is shiny. A sofa set close to a window, a few fancy chairs, a cupboard full of books and a TV set. What else do you want if you plan to hunt here?

Another unique outpost design is kinda the same structure but on top of a tower.

They didn't compromise on the comfort and the interior is packed with furniture in this one too. I was shocked to see it when I first went inside. There are some watch towers in some other maps which have an almost empty cabin at the top. I was expecting something similar here.

Another outpost you will find here on the eastern side of the map is this small shed. There is a coast close to

None of those are as large as the next one. This one has many buildings, all of them are locked by one. You will find a lot of automobiles parked outside too.

The last one that I am going to show you is the one that justifies the 'wild' in Call of the Wild. Let me take you to the Siberian wilderness. The whole map is covered in thick snow and we have log cabins as our outposts.

This one is consistent with the looks... interior is just basic furniture as you would expect in this wilderness. No fancy flooring or curtains or furniture. You will find similar designs throughout the map.

Another structure that intrigued me the most from the start is these...

I don't know what these are exactly. Are they some kind of food storage to keep it away from bears or something completely different? Let me know if you know its purpose.

Thanks for reading...

Until next shot...

It's look very realistic what graphics card you are using 😳

It's looking wonderful. The graphics of this game are stunning. You captured some great shots of manmade structures in that game. Best of luck. 😊👍

I loved the pictures my favorite are the ones of the snow they are beautiful.

It's great that there are people who can appreciate the atmosphere of the game. Who know how to stop and look at the details. Very nice pictures, by the way.
One question, I don't know the game, but it may be similar to Far Cry. Since you say it's about hunting.
Regards

It is a hunting simulator, the only Far Cry game that I played which I can remotely compare it to is Far Cry Primal, it had some nice hunting mechanics which were really rewarding and were one of the cruicial aspects of the game. I haven't played the last two Far Cry installment though. Need to upgrade my GPU first.

Cheers!

I quite liked it, especially the last ones, the icy atmosphere makes it look beautiful.
