People make use of swear words almost every day, and it sometimes becomes a part of them. Swearing can be used for different reasons.
First, people swear in order to convince someone that they are telling the truth, making use of words like I swear, I never saw it, I didn't do this, I swear, I swear to God and some use the bible."." They often swear because many people believe that when you swear when lying, you have inflicted a curse on yourself, so they can only believe you when you swear.
Although, the Bible uses the word "swear" very often, it still warns against it in Matthew 5:34–37, telling us that our words should be yes or no. And we should not swear on anything.

Also, swearing is the use of unpolite and offensive words to express feelings or emotions. However, many people make use of the swear words in an inappropriate and offensive manner, and some go as far as using them to curse others. Any word used to bring a person down is wrong. And it often amounts to verbal abuse. Sometimes, when using these words, children copy them from us, which is not proper. We must also consider how these words are viewed in our society today and how we would feel if they were used against us. Even in Christianity, swearing is a sin, and the Bible strongly condemns it. No matter the reason, swearing is wrong, as it is often used in an inappropriate manner.
