Tipsy troubles; a night to remember

in #hive-15385018 days ago

This drunken experience is the kind of experience you will remember and laugh and then swear never to drink again because it was so embarrassing, but I couldn't control the alcohol influence in my body, so I just had to act up and embarrass myself in the presence of lots of people.

I have different experiences with alcohol, even though I know when I drink too much, I would rather stop when I get to my belly limit, but then there are times I just don't stop until I become drunk and lose control over myself.

Another thing is that I don't drink outside except when my friends or my husband is there so that he can prevent me from misbehaving because if my husband is there, he would stop me from doing what the alcohol wants me to do. LoL 😂 but then, this particular experience was with my friend,d who we drank together,r and none of us could control the alcohol in our body system.

It happened some years ago. Me and my friend that went to Ghana were invited to a birthday party, so we went after working 7 a.m.–7 p.m. in the night.

At first, she didn't want to go, but I was able to convince her, so we got there and we were offered Best Drink. That was my first time tasting the drink, and the cream texture of the drink made me love it. I couldn't stop drinking it until I lost control over myself.

If you are the type that drinks a lot, you would know that whenever you drink with an empty stomach, the alcohol will quickly circulate in your body system.

We were hungry from work, and we actually went to the party because of food, but instead, we hugged the alcohol bottle and forgot about food.

After drinking the whole bottle of Big Best cream with my friend, I started feeling sleepy and tipsy at the same time, so I told her we should be going.

The celebrant packaged our food, and we left. The party happened at agric in Ikorodu, and we were to take the bus back to Ikorodu garage. The time was around 10:30pm, so we got to the bus stop and took a bus like every other person standing there.

I know I wasn't in good shape anymore, but my friend was acting strong, so I just kept quiet inside the bus until the conductor chose to bring out the alcohol beast in me.

He was collecting money, and we gave him $300 for two, which is $150 for one person, but then he rejected the money and said one person has to pay $200 each, and that he was shouting it to us when we wanted to enter the bus.

At first, I wanted to give him the $200, but after lying, he told us the amount. I changed my mind, and then I told him if he didn't lie, I would have given him the money. I also brought some money inside my pocket just to show him I had the money, but I just didn't want to pay him.

He got angry and told the driver to pack. He asked us to come down, but I told him to open the roof of the bus because I couldn't come down through the door unless I got to the Ikorodu garage.

We started arguing, and I told the rest of the people at my back not to pay $200, so everyone joined me since they didn't want to pay the amount.

When the driver noticed that I had the upper hand, he came down and begged me to forgive his conductor. I think he thought I was someone who could hurt them at the Ikorodu garage with the way I was telling them to get to the garage first and see what would happen to them, but after begging me, I paid $1150, and the rest of the people also paid $150.

When we got to Ikorodu Garage, the alcohol influence had already reduced in my body and my friend's body as well because of the fight and noise that we had made inside the bus.

Immediately, we got down, took off our slippers, and then ran to the extent that people who were supporting the fight inside the bus were surprised that we ran away after making a word that we would deal with the conductor at the garage. We didn't look back until we got to my friend's house.

When we got to her place, we started laughing at each other because I didn't believe I could talk that much, and my friend, too, was surprised at everything she said to the conductor. Later, we ate our food because, at that time, both of us were very famished, and then she told me she heard the conductor shouting enter with #200, while I didn't hear anything. All that was on my mind that night was to get home and sleep.

Such an experience is not what I am proud of or what I would like to experience again because, if not for God, the driver, and the conductor might have taken the matter seriously, which would have gotten out of hand because here in Ikorodu, small matters like that normally become so big that people hurt themselves over them, and that was why we ran before it got out of hand.

This is another thing that causes problems around. Being tipsy can really boost your confidence level, thereby, leading you into trouble with other people.
In your own case, you were lucky that the conductor and driver were nicer than usual. It could have turned into a mayhem.

Am telling you we were so lucky that day if not they would have turned the matter into something else for real

Being drunk comes in hand with some confidence but the outcome can be terrible. I have seen how it got people into trouble and it's honestly not a good thing.

Haha 😂 it was only God who saved us that day because we were drunk and everything we said that day could get us into trouble
