Gambling is always a game of chance or luck. It is an act of betting money or something that has value on an event that one doesn't have an idea if it would turn out well or not; the main intent is to win more money or something with value. It's like placing a small money to play a game of getting something substantial if you win and if you don't, you lose. This is why it is called a game of luck; it's either you win, or you lose. A risky attempt I would say.
A lot of people are into gambling. While it works well for some people, it doesn't for others as it makes them lose a lot, which also has the tendency of taking everything from a person if care isn't taken. They take the risk of gambling with their most precious property and end up losing it all to their counterpart.
When it comes to gambling, the outcome most likely turns out uncertain as one would not know if they would be lucky or not. It is only the wise that will make use of the money won for something useful but this isn't always the case most times. Gambling leads to greediness because those in it would want more and never be content until they lose all.
Gambling is illegal because it is like taking from A to settle B. In other cases, one might have spent and wasted money for a long time before luck finally shines on them and for some, instead of using it for something useful, they end up spending it recklessly. For others, their greediness goes to a higher level thereby squandering everything without using it for what is important.
Gambling works like alcohol or drugs. It stimulates the brain's reward system, turning it into addiction, and when it has gotten to that stage, it ruins a lot of things because people won't mind using money or something valuable meant for a purpose to place a bet on something uncertain. This has led people into serious debt and, in other cases, destroyed lives.
Gambling has ruined relationships because of their carelessness and foolishness and, most of it, the inability to control themselves and set limits or boundaries. It has also led to financial instability because someone into gambling would only be thinking of how to put money to get more when they should use the money for something else making them not think of building their financial lives.
The reasons people go into gambling are to escape problems, relieve themselves of helplessness and, most of all, depression. At that point, they are trying to get back lost money by gambling for more money, which is a wrong decision because it equals chasing after losses.
Most people think gambling or winning a jackpot could change their lives for the better but what they don't understand is that gambling is like a spirit that turns into an addiction that calls for more. This then leads to greediness and not being satisfied even if they win something huge; they just want more and keep gambling until they lose all their money back, which then keeps them in a regrettable state. At the end of the day, they become emotionally and psychologically distressed, making them start to think of the unimaginable, i.e, committing suicide because such an act has ruined a lot of things in their lives.
Gambling is like a way to make easy money and it encourages people not to work hard but to always find the easiest and fastest way to make money. This gives room for people not to value hard work but think that is the only route to be successful, and it doesn't always end well for many of them because some people eventually find other means, like ritual, just to reinforce the gambling process.
Gambling is illegal and should not be supported whatsoever because it makes people act irrationally and crave more, even if it's to commit crimes to gamble or turn into something just to make sure they try their luck. If it meant to kill someone else, they don't mind. Gambling only makes people do the wrong thing and it's just like someone in the business of illegal drugs and substances.
