I was listening to a sermon one time, the whole time from the first few minutes to the end, I paused at so many intervals to think about my life. I don't think I've ever thought so much about my life within an hour. The words from this man of God was more than just sermon, it was a sharp chisel cutting off some unnecessary parts off me, a magnifying lens to see clearer and well detailed, a pointer pointing at important things to note, his words were strong, unresistable, just too sharp. I spent hours thinking about my life after listening to this man of God. It felt like I have wasted too much time and at the same time making each listeners believe some corrections can be made; purpose can be found and fulfilled.
One thing about purpose is that you know it and at the same time you don't. What I mean is this..... we know what we want, might have clues about how to fulfill purpose but because we don't and can't see the future, we only know today, not tomorrow or the day after. Purpose is fulfilled with time, there are thousands of steps involved, and each step is a purpose on it own. Purpose, to everyone differs, can be similar to someone else's but never exact same. I would say life is more meaningful when you have a purpose; because you now have a reason to live, to want to see the next day, to push through times and seasons till purpose is fulfilled to its fullest.
Money is important but it's just a tool to get things done (some things). Money can't buy happiness, joy, peace, love but it is one of the things that contributes to or brings happiness, joy, peace, love, etc. Making money is needed to fulfill purpose, purpose is expensive and it costs a lot to be fulfilled (as long as your purpose isn't just average). Making plenty money enough to fund the lifestyle we wish for is cool but that's not all to life, you haven't lived life to its fullest if all you do is satisfy yourself, attain your own goals. What about other people's goal, dreams, purpose ?. What is life when we live for ourselves alone... I believe life is more meaningful when we are able to help others, support others and generally impact millions of life. I don't have to look like it now, I only need to start working towards it, putting in the work, giving it all it requires to fulfill purpose.
My purpose is centered around impacting lives in every possible way that can be thought of. Spiritually, mentally, financially, academically, socially, and many more. Making an impact, small or big, but very important that the recipients will not forget it.
Whatever our purposes are, we can start from where we are, we can start doing and fulfilling purposes in little ways. Don't wait until you are rich. You can't find purpose in a rush neither can you fulfill it in a rush, purpose and time work togehter.
