The Layer3 Linea Culture SZN was the best opportunity to earn Linea XP and mint some nice free NFTs. I done a lot of quests during Linea Park, but I later learned that I had to complete the Proof Of Humanity to be able to accumulate LXP! All those quests were done in vain!
Managed to complete the PoH criteria and started completing the Linea Culture quests. Each week highlighted projects and their NFTs, and the participants voted on their favorite art on Sunday. Free NFTs, LXP and Layer3 CUBEs for all! Will 470 LXP be enough for a decent drop? Time will tell!

Layer3 came to the rescue with the Scroll Campaign! The fees on Scroll are still quite high compered to other Layer2 chains, averaging $0.20 per transaction. This is why I only completed the quests with less actions needed. At least I broke even with the tier 4 reward, and the 0.00064 wrsETH I claimed was generous enough to cover the ETH spent on fees!
I started grinding my experience and noticed that CUBEs are easier to obtain through BASE quests. Maybe doing quests will tick boxes if Base will ever do a token? I transferred ETH from Optimism to Base and was no surprise that Across was the fastest route, offering the best return. We are talking about the cross-chain ecosystem’s optimal bridge design.
Layer3 also helped me earn more points on Mode, which is a nice double-dip. You can mint a CUBE on Mode, and interact with those protocols that will boost your chances. Season 1 ended and a snapshot was taken! I was level 14 at the time, with 192 quests completed on Layer3! I minted 76 cubes and earned 20,583 XP during the season! The bridging/trading volume wasn't great, only $91.39 tracked activity, but at least I managed to maintain my GM streak!
The end of season snapshotted me and the saga continues! My articles also onboarded four frens on Layer3, and I hope they will hustle their way towards a nice bag of tokens! The claim time has come!
My allocation was 941 $L3 tokens, and had to make a decision. There was no cash out dilemma, as the Layer3 dynamics hot me hooked up for good. The only question was the staking period! I opted for a full year of staking and an initial APY at 70%, and a plethora of benefits.
The APY dropped a bit during the early staking period, as more people entered the pool, but it maintained decent. Staking my airdrop also added a 200% boost to the next Layer3 airdrop.
Got 20k XP for season one and received 1000 $L3, therefore expecting more for the 50k XP I accumulated during season two! The amount will also benefit from the 2x multiplier I've obtained from staking, and there's good vibes coming from Layer3!
The platform benefits are perpetually adding value, and getting 7.1 $ARB in a staker minidrop is just one of the ongoing gifts. Selling 1000 $L3 tokens after the drop would have bring $80, but staking them will bring higher long term benefits! We keep on questing!
