Really intelligence is the supreme power and not valour and courage. Only due to his intelligence a small rabbit was successful in killing a powerful Lion.
This Shlokas is based on a fable of 'Panchatantra' . It teaches us the importance of intelligence in our life. Our mind works mlre aggresively than our courage and strength.
The fable is about a cruel Lion who used to wantonly kill animals of the forest. So when the turn of the rabbit came for being devoured by the Lion he delayed his entry and told the lion that the delay was due to another Lion in the forest and took the Lion to a deep well and asked the Lion to peep inside the well. On seeing his reflection in the well the Lion jumped inside the well and was killed due to the intelligent plan of the rabbit.
In a nutshell, where the work can be carried out with our intelligence, we do not need to utlise our strength.
