This is such an amazing topic because people think that they can only get baptized when they are planning to marry, get engaged. But we were made to understand that getting engaged or married and getting baptized are actually two different things which are not in any way related.
According to Gods servant getting engaged is fulfilling our sexual desire and to reproduce but getting baptized is disannouncing the work of the devil and accepting God as our lord and personal saviour, it is a call to dedicate our whole life in serving and doing the works of God.
Lets see God's word according to the book of ACT 22:16 We were made to understand that we must not be seen as people who gets ourselves delayed in obeying Gods word by getting baptized that we might be seen as someone who has been renewed in God and that the filthy old garment which has made us a slave to sin is been removed and we becomes a light in the world.
So therefore let us not be deceived that we can only get engaged when we are baptized. No because Baptism is a decision one makes to leave his old path of sinful lives and to follow the footsteps of God. So all we need to do be it we are engaged,married is to get baptized and let our sins be washed away.
