How to play your cards in Splinterlands.
I really liking the new interface of the Splinterland game, especially where they are displaying messages to the players to ease their experience of the playing games. Though game interface can guide you the basics but tactical decision of the team formation is need to be taken by the players. Below is the screenshot of my battle that I like to highlight ,in which I am to create team based on the criteria I like to follow.
1. Use the allocated Mana.
In this ruleset , I am allowed to create the team of 37 mana and I used 36 mana. Creating best team within allocated mana is the goal so do not freak for using all mana but create best team close to that mana range will do the trick.
2. Good health tank with Healing ability.
Card that is put in first position is called tank. Try to put card with good health and armor in first position. It will be good if it can heal itself.
Here my "Pelacor Mercenary" is fit on both the count , i.e having good health and ability to heal.
3. Tank heal.
Also try to use tank heal that heal your tank. This will help the tank to stay strong for the fight.
4. Strong Tail.
Card in the back or in the last position is called the tail pf the team. I will advice like tank, back rank should also have great health.
Here I used Mycelic Slipspawn as a tail , which has great health and some strong attacking stats to win the battle for me.
5. Triage , heal the back rank.
In point 2 and 3 we discussed about the healing of the tank but when we have strong tail or the back rank then "Triage" ability comes very handy that can "heal" your tail or back rank team.
I used Spirit Hoarder for this purpose and it really worked good in restoring health of Mycelic Slipspawn.
Also, I will like to put emphasis on putting the summoner that help your team, I choose Obsidian as Summoner at it give +1 to magic attack and choosing 5 monsters that has magic attack, it is +5 attack per round. Special mention to monster like Doctor Blight that poison the enemy team. One can choose a strong "opportunity" monster also that can do targeted attack on opponent team. List can go endless and you gain and understand all of these when you start playing and observing the team formation of opponent and yours and analyze the reason of the win or defeat.
Sometime it is hard to follow all the criteria as the game ruleset do not not allow you to use some specific type of player in your team formation.
Covering all these point in the team formation does not mean a sure shot win but definitely it increase your chances of the win. Maybe your opponent is also smart enough to take care of all above points while creating team or may the luck and RNG god is also not with you but we should always try to create a best team.
