Splinterlands: Will Training Lead me to the higher Leagues?
When this week Splinterland's Community Engagement Challenge featured "Training Mode", I had no idea at all that how this feature work as I haven't used it all before it was mentioned in the challenge post.
If you remember that few days ago I have written about the Splinterland's Challenge Feature which is very similar to the "Training" feature and after using both of them, I concluded that it will help in creating "very" strong teams, that will definitely help in the winning battles.
As you can see in the above screenshot, Training can be accessed by clicking on the Training available on the right corner at the upper side. Once you click on it, you will see the pop-up screen in which you will put "Difficulty" which can be "Easy", "Medium" or "Hard". I prefer is to choose "Hard" because in my case the point of doing training is to check my strategy against the best combination instead of gaining wins as winning in "Ranked" match matters most. The good thing about training is that don not consume "Energy" and nor do it affect your rating points whether you win or lose. Since it do not consume your energy so it do not reward anything, so no SPS or Glint points are attached in this mode.
In next. you get option for cards in heading "Allowed Cards" where based on your choice, it might be the "Wild format" or maybe the "Modern Format" of the game. For me choosing "Modern" cards work as I like to test my skill and strategy in modern format of the game as I currently playing modern format.
In the next selection, we have to choose the "Summoner Level Caps" and for me I choose "Expert" which allows to use Max level Summoners. Since I am already a "Diamond" League player and do have Max summoner , so get trained with "Expert" level summoner makes the sane choice for me.
After doing all of these settings, you have to click on "Send" to get ready for battle. I have played some battles and the worst part is that I lose all. But in any case, no need to get disheartened by it as it is part of understanding strategy so that you play well in the "Ranked" matches.
Happily, I did some ranked matches and I finally broke in to "Diamond 2" league for the first time in the season. With 5 more days are still left for season to end, I guess I will be training hard to get in Diamond 1.
I have shared above my link for the battle that unlocked Diamond 2 rewards for me, I am sure I am going to train and battle hard for Diamond 1 now, if I am do this in this season then it will be my first "Diamond 1" reward chest of this year.
So we are almost end of the post and before I sign off, I will to share my rewards earned in by unlocking Diamond 2 league.
There were 2 ultimate chests, 8 major chests, and 11 minor chests that yielded the below Energy, Potions, Merits, and cards.
Since these rewards got me a lot of Luceheim Demon, I am combining them to get a higher level of this card that has "cleanse" property.

With these combined cards, I get really a good card to play in the noxious fumes for life Splinter. I was really missing the "Cleanse" property option in my deck of modern cards for long after the "Silversheild Bard" do not become the part of my deck in the modern battles. I really missed card like Silversheild Bard that give so much utility for just 1 mana.
