These charming plump creatures can be said to appear in cities in winter. However, this is not entirely true. It is simply that by nature this type of bird is very secretive and cautious, so it is very difficult to see them in the forest in spring and summer, they are silent and even their flight is soundless.
As you might guess, males are bright red, and females are brown. Bullfinches feed on plant food, in autumn and winter, as a rule, these are rowan seeds, which they get from berries. They also love ash seeds, which have a large amount of fat.
