🦉 The Eurasian siskin (Spinus spinus)

These yellow birds live mainly in coniferous forests, which are far from my city. However, in spring and autumn they can be seen on the fly when they migrate from forest to forest, and some even nest.
The birds refuse to be photographed in any way, even if you lure them with a sound, the bird will stay at a distance.

As you might guess, the male is bright yellow, while the female is pale with mottled stripes. The birds are herbivorous, but the chicks are fed both plant food and insects.
