Hello and Namaste Everyone

It's time when the world is moving towards green energy and they want to get rid of the traditional energy. Transport or vehicle is one of the biggest segments that runs on traditional energy but now it is moving to green energy and electricity is the new form of energy for vehicles. Electric vehicles are in demand and many countries are trying to get this transition done at a fast pace India is also one of the growing markets. There are a few companies that are manufacturing electric vehicles like cars and buses but the Wheeler market has not grown much.

Recently one of the companies in India launched its electric motorcycle. The same company launched its two two-wheeler scooter three years back and the response was amazing because this product is environmentally friendly and also it shapes a lot on the running cost. Now with electric motorcycles, the company is trying to increase the electric vehicle penetration into the Wheeler segment. They launched their product on the 15th of August and now they have got a very good response from the people in the country. They have opened the booking for the product and they are going to deliver it starting from the next year. Three models are launched with different variants at different prices so people can choose the one they like according to their budget. ultimately Ola (the company) has tried to cater to different sets of markets.

It is good that with electric motorcycles people would be able to save money on their commute costs while keeping the environment clean and people-friendly. This is the need of time when we need to switch to the alternate form of energy and electric energy is the best solution that is good for the planet. Petrol vehicles are not just expensive but also not good for the planet and result in higher pollution in the environment. With more options coming into the electric vehicle people would be able to make a change in their commute habit by making a switch which is good for everyone including the planet and people. The maintenance is not much in these vehicles and the running cost is also very low which is a cost-effective and pocket-friendly solution.

The Ola Company has done a great job in the past and looks like now they are going to create another demand in the market for two-wheelers but this time it is going to be an electric motorcycle. India is a bigger market for two-wheelers and now with electric solutions the company is trying to bring more people on board who will be using electric vehicles and they will move away from the traditional two-wheelers running on the petrol fuel. Some companies are also trying to build solutions where one of the companies has launched its motorcycle running on CNG which is also environmentally friendly. So are you excited about the launch if you are in India? What are your thoughts about it?

Thank you so much
Stay Safe

That's a great looking motorcycle!

I went to the website to see if I could get one in the US but I didn't see any information about that. They do have a dealership page at https://www.olaelectric.com/dealership

Thank you for your interest in becoming a partner and helping us bring the electric revolution to India and the world! At present, we are not on-boarding any dealers/dealerships or any other third-party affiliations.

So I think they are just selling in India right now. Are you, or any family member or friend, thinking of getting one? I might be interested in something like this in the near future, and if OLA sells them here sometime I'll look into them more.

Thanks for the info on these cool new electric motorcycles! :)

It's a fantastic motorcycle and I am planning to buy a scooter for me and now they have scooter and bike both. Currently they're available in India but they have plan to expand globally in future.

I am planning to buy one by end of this year and currently electric vehicles are expensive so I need to manage my savings as I don't want to buy on EMI. I will buy only when I have enough savings for this. I will share about it when I buy..
