The zoo park in my hometown is one of my favorites because of the beautiful greenery. We can take a relaxed walk, sit under the shade of the big trees, and listen to the birds chirping. The area is huge so anyone can find a calm corner and enjoy nature even in the middle of the chaos of the city.
This place is called 'Rangpur Zoo Park'. You have to pay a small fee to enter, only $.25. So I don't mind paying to enjoy this beautiful scenery.
Moreover, this time during the rainy season I discovered some surprising flowers. Most of them were unknown to me and many were a rare find.
Let me share.
My first discovery was this Kamini flower tree. Look at the petals underneath. When we got there, because of the rain and wind, it seemed like the tree was raining its petals. Moreover, the flower smells nice. It was such a wonderful thing to watch.
We stand for a while under the tree to enjoy the petal rain!
Imagine having more flower trees like this one in our surroundings. People like me would enjoy the view but probably urbanites would get mad seeing the mess. Hahaha...
Then I got to see this Hardy Hibiscus. This variation is not common in this region. We have other types of Hibiscus. This red one caught my attention because of its size and how many it grows in a small bush.
Also, there were Madhobi Lata in the same bush, which made it look much more beautiful.
I also found a bush of aromatic jui flowers.
Guess how I found it? Yes, because of the attractive fragrance, I looked around and saw the bush.
Finally, the small flowers of the willow made our walk much more enjoyable.

My walk through the zoo park was nothing but a discovery of the most seen things. It turned into an unexpected journey filled with vibrant and surprising flowers all because I was absorbed by the urban chaos so much. I didn't pay much attention to these small details of nature that keep flourishing around us.
The fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and beauty of nature left me feeling refreshed and uplifted. It was a perfect reminder of how simple moments in nature can bring so much joy and serenity in our daily lives as well as make them memorable.
