Tomorrow will be the big day. We have already reached the destination, although it will not be a destination wedding but a family get-together in our hometown.
We flew to our home just yesterday, a lot to do for the upcoming day on Friday. We look forward to a lot of fun and a great future for the to-be wedded couple.
It was not a walk. lol, But I would love to share what our domestic terminal looks like and about our journey.
It takes only 45 minutes to reach our hometown. The journey is very short so it's time-saving during emergencies like this.
You may wonder, why the emergency though, isn't the wedding pre-planned! Well, like many other marriages, and as per our custom, it was an arranged marriage. So we had to plan everything all of a sudden after the finalization of the bride and groom.
Our domestic terminal is not huge, only five or six airlines run locally. The airbuses were not so fancy as well. Good for us because otherwise who knows if we would be able to afford it or not?
We got the evening flight and reached our home by 10 PM yesterday. There still needs a lot of shopping and small things to take care of for the wedding. It was a busy week and the weekend would be a blast for sure.
I'm not sure what the International Airbus is doing here in the domestic terminal. Probably for maintenance purposes.
By the way, it was Dhaka International Airport - Bangladesh. During the short flight, we got some snacks and water from the bus too.
We reached Saidpur Airport after 45 minutes, the flight was smooth. It didn't take us much time to get our luggage. We were off to meet my in-law's family.
I'm too excited to join the wedding, not only because it's my sister-in-law's but also because It's been a while since I didn't attend a wedding and meet their part of the family.
Hopefully, everything will go as planned. Looking forward to the best Fall Wedding!
