Winter came with a surprise - with all its colors on the palate!
Being from a warm region where summer is scorching hot, we prefer winter. It's more comfortable and nature decorates itself the best during this time.
Every park, street side, and gardens look very colorful. Moreover, the sun feels nice and gentle.
A few days ago, when I visited a historical palace, the garden in front of the palace amazed me the most. It felt like they didn't leave behind any flowering plants of the season but had every flower of different colors and variety.
We visited the place during the afternoon. The golden glow at that time made the whole surrounding so magical.
The rose garden was a visitor's attraction. The garden is huge and one corner is dedicated to the rose plants. Every color of roses were there, from red to pink, from yellow to white, even I found a purple one!
What I love most is that the visitors were respectful to not pick any flowers. Flowers are beautiful when they are on the plant, no?
The second best thing was the Dahlia garden. It was like a wonderful color show for us and nature was the artist. The flowers were glowing in the afternoon sun!
They were bigger than my hands and bloomed so beautifully. I love the wild pungent (I don't know how else I can word this) fragrance of Dahlia.
The Gerberas competed with the roses and the Dahlias!
And Marigold said winter is nothing without us!
All the other flowers were applauding with them!
We walked around and sat inside the garden surrounded by flowers for an hour. It felt like, I stepped into a fairyland. Unfortunately, there were not many butterflies and bees compared to the flowers; probably because of the winter or don't know. But they sure will make us more happy to be around.
It was a beautiful afternoon, with all the colors of the winter. I wish winter would be longer so we can enjoy this beauty more!
