📕BIBLE TEXT:📖
For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose (Philippians 2:13).

❤️🖊️CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
If God does not work in your inner man, you will find it difficult to please Him through your outward man.
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
🥞🖊️MAIN DISCOURSE:
Anyone who is rightly living for God is able to do so because his inner man was helped by God.
It is the workings of God in your inner man by His Spirit that causes your outer man to give Him pleasure.
In our text for today, the Apostle Paul wrote, "For it is God who works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure".
You'll be frustrated when you try to live holy if God does not help you out.
The workings of God in our inner man produce two things, namely:
- Willingness or hunger
- Ability or strength
If you're unable to secure these two virtues, it will be impossible for you to do as God desires.
Can you cry to God to work to make these virtues alive in you, so that your life will become a spring of pleasure to God?

DECLARATION:
If you would like to give your life to Jesus, you can do so by saying this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. I ask that You forgive my sins. I accept you into my heart as my Lord and personal saviour. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' name. Amen."
