BAD BUSINESS
📕TODAY'S TEXT:
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? (Mark 8:36).

💞 CENTRAL TRUTH
It doesn't matter what volume of sales you have made; if you didn't make any profit, it was a bad business.
🖊️ MAIN DISCOURSE:
The essence of engaging in any business activity is to make a profit. Any business venture that doesn't yield any profit is classified as a bad business.
According to our text for today, our Lord Jesus exclaimed to the people, "What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul in hell...?"
I'm yet to see anyone who had a business dealing with the devil and came out with a profit. Unfortunately, they even lose their capital in the process.
It's easier to lose your profit than it is to lose both your profit and capital at the same time.
Getting quick money and losing your soul in the process is a terrible business outcome.
A young lady who gets used for money-generating rituals after receiving jewelry, cash, phones and vacation trips is an example of bad business.
A young man who makes a pact with the devil in order to get quick cash, only to enjoy his wealth for five years alone and die thereafter has also gotten involved in bad business.
What shall it profit a man who gains the whole world and enjoys all the pleasure there is on earth, only to end up in destruction?
Remember this: there is no profit in doing business with the devil.
The only profitable contract you can sign is with Jesus Christ. For His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
