This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.

On this Sunday, I went back around the small forest and as usual to look for small animal species, and this Sunday I also had no activities outside, so on this sunny day I went back to the small forest, and before I left I always brought a smartphone camera and macro lens in my bag wherever I went.

And when I arrived there I immediately walked and a few minutes later I found this species of caterpillar Datana contracta, and at that time I saw it walking on one of the dead and dry tree trunks, and at that time I immediately approached it and after that I immediately took several angles of pictures of this species of caterpillar which looked very unique and beautiful.

Datana contracta, the contracted datana, is a species of moth in the family Notodontidae.....Wikipedia

Then I also found this species of butterfly Cupido argiades and at that time I saw it perched on one of the grass leaves, and from its small shape with a color motif that looked different and very beautiful and at that time I immediately approached it, after approaching it and without waiting long I immediately took several angles of pictures that looked very beautiful and graceful.

The short-tailed blue or tailed Cupid (Cupido argiades) [1] is a butterfly that forms part of the family Lycaenidae.....Wikipedia

Then I also found this carpenter bee species Xylocopa virginica and at that time I accidentally saw this carpenter bee species crawling on one of the dry wild plants, and at that time I immediately approached it and very carefully took several different angles of pictures and it looked very beautiful and interesting, and I hope you like it and can enjoy it.

Xylocopa virginica, sometimes referred to as the eastern carpenter bee, extends through the eastern United States and into Canada.....Wikipedia
