An extraordinary journey // Passing extreme routes that are a challenge on a holiday trip

Good afternoon to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post, I will share some pictures and stories from the beginning of my journey to the city of Takengon a few days ago, as I have said in several previous posts, I started my journey in the morning when the sun had just risen to illuminate the earth, but this time I will tell you about the obstacles and excitement that I experienced during the journey from the city of Bireuen to the city of Takengon.

There was a lot of excitement from my trip, yes maybe it takes a lot of words to convey the story, besides the fun things, I also experienced some obstacles and challenges during the trip. To tell the story of my trip, let's start from here.

At that time I deliberately stopped on the side of the road to wear a jacket because I couldn't stand the scorching sun that felt very hot, but when I stopped I took the time to take some pictures showing the atmosphere of the road which would take me to the city of Takengon, we can see for ourselves on the side of the road there are still some big trees and grass growing there which adds to the impression of the naturalness of the place. But not long after I put on the jacket, I immediately continued this journey with full hope for happiness.

It was a very exciting trip, especially since I did this trip with some of my friends, and during the trip we chatted and sang, and it was a happiness that I cannot express in words, and as far as the eye could see, the roads we passed were still very normal and easy to pass.

But not long after entering a different district, we also had to prepare ourselves to be able to face a very extreme route, because basically to get to Takengon city we had to go through a very extreme route because where the road was made in the middle of the mountain body, fortunately now the road to Takengon is all paved, which makes the road we go through a little easier. Before there was a paved road to Takengon city it was really very difficult, that's why some say the route to Takengon is a route that splits the mountain.

This is a route that has a very sharp bend, and the bend is also a little uphill which makes this route very dangerous if we are not careful in passing this route. If told about the route I have a story where my friend had an accident on the bend which resulted in him having to be taken to the hospital immediately, but that happened a few years ago, so until now if I pass that route I will definitely stop to rest for a moment there.

There were so many bends that I had to face on this trip, because the road to Takengon city was almost entirely on a mountain with a very winding road, but of the many bends there was one bend that was very extreme where drivers had to be very careful when passing through that route, and that route was not far from where I stopped.

I immediately continued my journey after taking a short break at that corner, maybe after about 20 minutes of travel I finally arrived at the corner I meant, which was a very extreme corner.

Maybe from some of the pictures that I have shared, you can conclude how scary the bend is, the bend is exactly like an inverted S, but not only that because the bend is very extreme because the bend also has a fairly high incline where to pass through the route you have to be extra careful.

There are many accidents that occur at this corner, but there is one most horrific incident that happened several years ago. The incident occurred when a car was driving at the corner and unfortunately the brakes of the car failed, causing the car to immediately lose control and finally the car continued to drive until it plunged into the ravine in front of it. I got this information from several of my friends.

That is one of the many cases of accidents at that bend, and the name of the bend is "Tajuk Enang-Enang". I myself do not understand the meaning of the name, but it is definitely Gayo language, yes, that is one of the languages in Aceh.

Don't get carried away by the horror atmosphere because besides the horror we can also witness the extraordinary natural scenery when passing through these roads, because the road is on the body of the mountain so we can see the surrounding atmosphere freely. As in some of the pictures below.

But still we have to be careful because the ravine is on the side of the road, to enjoy the natural beauty I decided to stop for a moment on the side of the road to capture some of these beautiful moments, because it would be very risky if I captured these beautiful moments while riding a motorbike.

But as usual, because this trip had to pass through very extreme roads, which made me feel very tired, so I decided to stop for a while at a food stall located on the edge of a very beautiful river.

I also ordered food and drinks to refill my stomach which was already very hungry, because I knew I still had to continue this journey by passing through several routes which would definitely be extreme in front of me later, so I had to really prepare myself with a strong physical and mental. And I didn't linger in that place after I ate and drank I immediately continued this journey.

However, when I passed a route, I saw a monkey on the side of the road. I knew the purpose of the monkey was to ask for food from the drivers passing by on the road, seeing the monkey, I immediately took a picture of it and after that threw two apples to it as a reward for the pose it had shown.

After passing through the road on the mountain, I was finally able to ride my motorbike comfortably again, because after passing through the winding road, I was able to pass through the straight road and was easy to pass, but during the trip, my friend suddenly asked me to stop for a while because he wanted to buy very tempting street food, I immediately followed my friend's statement because I also really like street food like batagor.

And after I bought some of the street food I immediately continued my journey and ate it on the way, I really enjoyed this trip as much as possible because indeed every opportunity may not come a second time. On the way I could already feel the cold temperature because I had almost arrived in the city of Takengon.

However, in the middle of the trip, I also stopped by a gas station to refuel my motorbike. At the gas station, I also captured several moments that showed the location of the gas station.

After filling up my motorbike with fuel, I immediately continued my journey with great enthusiasm.

And in the middle of the journey I saw a very unique place that looked very traditional, when I saw the uniqueness of the place I decided to stop there to capture the beautiful announcement at that place.

However, after seeing the place, I became curious, which made me decide to go deeper to explore the place, because the place does look very ancient and traditional, but to be honest, I don't know the name and purpose of the place, whether the place is a tourist attraction or not, I don't know.

But exploring the place further was just the thing to satisfy my curiosity.

but to reach the place I had to cross a bridge that had been provided there, from the bridge alone it was clear that the place had extraordinary uniqueness and beauty, but unfortunately when I arrived in front of the building, I saw that the building was closed but I didn't know the reason why the place was closed.

In the middle of the place there was a rock with a hole in the middle, but I was a little scared when I saw the rock, the hair on the back of my neck immediately stood up which made me immediately turn around and start to leave the place.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me that explain about my excitement in traveling to Takengon city, and a little story from me that I have presented nicely in this post, I really hope this post can provide entertainment for all my friends. I @riyat apologize profusely if there are any wrong words and writings in this post because I myself am a human being who is never free from mistakes 🙏🙏.
