Harvesting cocoa and starfruit in the garden // plantation next to the house and all the wonderful activities

Good afternoon all hive friends ♥️

in this post I will share some of my activities on the plantation next to my house such as harvesting some fruits such as cocoa and starfruit, of course there are still many other activities that I do on the plantation today, keep reading this post and enjoy.

Today my grandfather told me to go back to harvest the cocoa fruit in the garden next to the house, I agreed to my grandfather's order and immediately took the pole and some other equipment to harvest the cocoa fruit, I immediately went to the garden with full enthusiasm and hoped to get a bigger harvest than yesterday.

As soon as I arrived at the garden, I immediately saw several cocoa fruits that had turned yellow on the tree, indicating that the fruit was ripe and ready to be harvested.

However, from my estimation, this harvest will not be as much as yesterday's harvest, but I still look for and harvest cocoa fruit with great enthusiasm.

I then collected the cocoa fruit that I had picked and put it in a bucket to make it easier for me to pick. I then continued walking around the garden and looked for one by one the cocoa trees whose fruit was ripe for me to pick. When the bucket was full, I immediately took the fruit home to collect it next to the house.

After harvesting the cocoa fruit which took almost 2 hours, I could see that today's harvest was less than yesterday's. And after I collected the cocoa fruit beside the house, suddenly my grandfather came to split the cocoa fruit to dry it first before selling it.

And after I finished picking the cocoa fruit, I rested for a moment on the chair next to my house, and after a while my tiredness disappeared I returned to the garden to pick the star fruit.

After arriving under the star fruit tree, I immediately picked the star fruit and filled it up in the bucket too, but picking star fruit is a little more tiring than picking chocolate fruit because the fruit is so many and small in size, I have to pick it very carefully so it doesn't fall to the ground. and I harvested the star fruit myself because my grandfather wanted to make this star fruit into sunti acid.

Asam sunti itself is a star fruit that is dried in the sun, then salted and dried in the sun for several days to produce delicious asam sunti, and the use of asam sunti itself is as a cooking spice to give a sour taste to every dish.

And this is the process of drying star fruit to make sunti acid.

The star fruit has only been dried for 1 day, and the fruit is already yellow and has become a bit soft.

Usually the drying process of sunti acid takes up to 4 days to get maximum results, but it also depends on the heat of the sun, but if the weather is cloudy it can take up to 7 to 8 days. But the one who dried the starfruit was my grandfather. Because he was very skilled at drying star fruit, I just picked it from the tree and took it home.

and after finishing harvesting the star fruit, I went back to rest in the hut in front of my house, suddenly my eyes fell on one of the big mango trees in front of my house, but what caught my attention was that the mango tree had experienced a lot of diseases such as branches that rotted by themselves and several large trunks that had fallen.

I don't know why the mango tree is rotten like this, but some say that the mango tree is infected with parasites, but I don't know for sure.

If there are friends who understand the problem that is currently happening to my mango tree, please write your opinion in the comments column below so that I can get the right solution👇

And when I was looking at the mango tree, suddenly some of my friends came and invited me to pick young coconuts in their garden. I agreed and immediately went to my friend's garden.

When I got there, it turned out that another friend of mine had already picked the young coconut, so I didn't need to bother picking it again, and I saw several of my friends splitting the young coconut.

and it seems they really enjoy the young coconut water which tastes very sweet, he said.

I didn't stay silent and immediately split the young coconut and ate it. Well, that's my activity from harvesting cocoa and starfruit to doing other activities that are still around the plantation next to the house. And hopefully this post can provide entertainment for all my friends.
