The end of my journey in Takengon city // A very extreme journey home by taking an extreme route at night

in #hive-1637729 days ago

Good afternoon to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

Every meeting must have a farewell, that's what I felt when I had to leave the heavenly city of Takengon, there were many things and precious moments that I got on that vacation so that those beautiful moments will always be remembered. In this post itself I will summarize as best as possible the story of the journey home from Takengon to Bireuen which was filled with feelings of sadness and became a challenge in itself because I did it at night.

I stopped for a moment at the edge of Tawar sea to wait for some of my friends who were still far behind, but when I stopped I also took the time to capture some of the beauty of the charm of the freshwater sea and the surrounding scenery for the last time. The cold atmosphere plus the beautiful natural scenery made me feel at home and honestly I didn't want to go home but that's the problem because no matter what happens I still have to make the journey home.

And after a few minutes of waiting, finally my friend managed to catch up with us and after everyone gathered, we immediately continued our journey home. On the way home, I didn't really focus on the road because my eyes kept looking at every beauty that this city had to offer.

I stopped again to refill my motorbike's gas which was almost empty, but the beauty before my eyes made me unable to resist, the vast expanse of rice fields with the beauty of the sea and mountains right behind it. However, considering that it was already very late afternoon, I couldn't waste any more time.

The road I am currently passing is a village road, so the natural atmosphere is still very fresh here, the loud sound of the waves from the sea can also be heard in my ears which indicates that the sea water is high tide.

The thing I was most afraid of on this trip home was that I would still be in Takengon city until the evening, because the road we took to go home was a very extreme road, plus the quiet road atmosphere made us feel very scared. When we arrived on the city road, we immediately accelerated our motorbike to speed up the time to go home so that we could save a little time.

Seeing some fruit sellers on the side of the road made some of my friends unable to resist so they stopped again to buy some of the fruits sold there, even I myself also bought some Lol.

At that time the clock was showing 6 o'clock and the journey home to Bireuen city took approximately 5 hours, so we were already in the middle of the road, so we needed approximately 3 more hours to arrive in Bireuen city, after estimating the time I finally concluded that we had to be ready to go through that extreme route right at night.

The condition of the market on the side of the road that we passed, I don't really remember this place, but what is certain is that we are far from the city of Takengon. And maybe in a few minutes the center of this market will end and we will soon be met with a road that is full of challenges and far from settlements, although there are some but very few.

Luckily, when we arrived at Tajuk enang-enang, it was just starting to get dark, and this was also a good thing considering that of the many bends, this bend was the most extreme, the road that had to be passed was very winding like the letter S and the road was very steep.

The reason we stopped was because there was a big car passing by so we stopped for a moment on the side of the road and let the big car pass first, even to wait for the big car to pass we had to lose 5 minutes of our time because the car had to move forward and backward to stay on a safe path, even scarier was that there was a ravine on the side of the road.

And after the big car passed, we immediately continued our journey home, but not long after that the sun had completely set which made the atmosphere very dark and very tense, our thoughts were all over the place at that time because the very quiet road conditions made us feel very worried about people committing muggings on the road, because there were several cases of people who had also experienced muggings on the road we were passing, so to be on the safe side we continued our journey and kept our distance from other friends.

It was really dark, so I immediately put my phone away and started to focus on the trip, and luckily on the way back it didn't rain at all, so that made the trip feel easier for us.

After traveling for about 3 hours, we finally arrived in the city of Bireuen, and that made us feel very relieved because we had managed to pass through this very extreme route, but when we arrived in the city of Bireuen we felt very tired and very hungry so we decided to look for some food stalls to rest and eat first.

Until finally we decided to stop at a meatball stall, and maybe this would be a very fitting dish considering the very cold night atmosphere. Upon arriving at the meatball stall, we immediately went inside and started ordering, and while waiting for the dishes to be ready, I took the time to capture some moments while I was at the stall.

And after waiting for a few minutes, finally our order was ready to be served, so my next task was to eat it immediately😋

And the journey home ended with this delicious meal.
