Splintershards (SPS) is the official governance token for Splinterlands and has been integrated into the Splinterlands game in order toprovide increased decision-making and control over the product to the player base, asset owners, and other stakeholders. Staked SPS is necessary for all Splinterlands players who enjoy earning rewards and want to fully participate in the ecosystem, which is exactly why I aim to have more SPS in Stake. I won't repeat the same things here since they are explained in detail, the official support pages of Splinterlands are really great and will guide you on many topics related to the game.
I earn SPS from Ranked battles, Brawl, Tournaments, and Staking rewards, and I stake almost all of them regularly. I also buy SPS from the market and stake them too. As my SPS in Stake increases, both my rewards in ranked battles and my staking rewards increase, so I continue to strive to stake more SPS. Keeping your SPS in staking provides an APR of approximately 11%, which is paid SPS and Voucher. You can claim your rewards whenever you want, I usually claim daily and stake my SPS rewards as well. By the way, if you want, you can rent out your staked SPS, I think it's an extra income especially for those who don't actively play, I've never rented them out since I actively play Splinterlands.
As I said above, I have earned SPS from ranked battles, tournaments, Brawl, and staking rewards so far, but I am looking for ways to increase my SPS income even more in 2025. In particular, I have started to examine SPS liquidity pools and will enter the ones that can be the most profitable for me, if everything goes as I want, I think it is a good way to earn passive income.
My goal in 2024 was to reach 50K SPS in Stake and I am still 1569 SPS short and now I will complete my shortfall by buying SPS from the market and hit my goal.
I just bought another 1575 SPS from the market and will now stake them all.
Now I have staked another 1711 SPS.
And finally I have over 50,000 SPS in Stake. I am excited and happy to achieve my 2024 goal and I wanted to share it with you. This may be a very small amount for some, but if I continue to stake my SPS consistently, its growth will increase day by day. My goal for 2025 is to reach 100,000 SPS in stake, but I have no doubt that I can do more if everything goes as I want.
Splinterlands is a really great game and I think it's the best play2earn game, I really enjoy playing it. And I do my best to grow my account, I attach great importance to both making my team more powerful and increasing my in-game passive income. Also my passive income helps me a lot in making my team powerful, so I will give more priority to increasing my passive income from now on. I achieved my 2024 goal today and I am ready to climb to my new goal faster, let's see how long it will take me to achieve my new goal.
