I'm not really sure why a dog and a cat seem to love our home. Did they choose our home purposefully, or were they just brought here by someone else? But I am sure that Creamy White and Bangs weren't brought here because they got here when they were this old already. I think they really just chose our home, maybe because they feel something here that they didn't feel in any other homes. We welcome these two wholeheartedly, and they are even now included in the food budget for our pets ＼(^o^)／.
And now, lo and behold, fellas, I don't know if someone just dropped her off in front of our house or led her to come here, or was she lost? But this cat got inside Mommy D's sari-sari store and later decided to just live with us here. At first, she's really unfriendly, she's hissing and ready to scratch us with the wrong move. Maybe because she's still traumatized iver something, and then suddenly, she's in this unfamiliar place. Of course, everyone will react differently. When she got inside our store, the first thing we did was give her cat food.
But maybe because she's still unfamiliar to us, she didn't pay attention to the food and instead hid at the back of our fridge. She's also mean to the little ones, at that time, Wiswis kitten was still really small, so we couldn't let her get inside. So what we did was give her to Mama downstairs. I think it still took her days before she got comfortable at Mama's house. But then, weeks later, she went upstairs to where our house is and found her way inside our home. Like, she literally went back to our house.
And she's already doing great with Mama. But I think it's because she got the taste of the cat food, I mean, she smelled it when we tried to feed it to her the first time, and now she's looking for it. Maybe she thinks she can find it in our home. And she's not wrong with that. Lol. You see, Mama's food for her cat is rice with a mix of fish, while we feed ours with cat food, and maybe this new cat still wanted to try the cat food. So she went to our house. Mommy D fed her some cat food, and now she loves it so much.
She's literally living with us now. The oldies gave her name too. It's "Dapo." But, we have to move her back to Mama's house at night because the little ones are afraid of her. And you know, she's a sweet little baby. I hate whoever throws her, but at the same time, I'm also thankful because she found a family that will feed her on time and who'll love her no matter what. I think it's a bonus for the little kitten that we have baby kittens at home because after spending a little more time together, they became a playmate.
And there are times that she joins the other kittens in Wiswis and Ikay's Feeding Program, lolol. They are feeding a lot of kittens right now, so I call it that, imagine 5 kitten for Ikay and 2 for Wiswis, and oh, another 3 for Batik. Lol. We just let Dapo join in because she's still looking for Momma Cat milk ಥ_ಥ. It's a good thing that the two Mama Cats just allow Dapo to breastfeed them. There are some cats that really hate other cat babies. But I think these two are used to it now coz they just let Dapo in..
But seriously! How could they do this to Dapo? Just look how adorable she is! I'm also wondering if she has other siblings, and if she has, I hope they are okay as well and doing great with their new home and hoomans. That's just my wish for them. They are too small to even experience such hardship ಥ_ಥ. Even if we have a lot of cats and kittens, we have 10 kittens and 5 adult cats. Even if they are too naughty and create a lot of mess all the time, we can't just throw them away. What we did was, if they are grown enough, we will find a new home and hooman for them. But we will never throw them away. ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ
Anyway, look at this amazing smile —is it a smile or a smirk? Lol. Such a wonderful smile. Please give Dapo some love, because I know she deserves it. We can all agree to that, yeah? ＼(^o^)／
