Hello guys. Hope you are all doing well. I'm back in this community after a week and this is my post for the Needlework Monday Contest. Today at seven o'clock in the morning the temperature was four degree and it was very cold, but after a while the sun came out and the weather became very good. Some of you may know that last time I embroidered red Gerbera flowers and they were so neat and pretty that's why I received a lot of nice comments.
I got the idea of making this embroidery from a short video. I used dark red and yellow thread to make the flower and green thread to make the leaves. I hope you will like this embroidery of mine. Let's start with the procedure.
Procedure
I decided to make this flower last night and today morning I was very excited to embroider it. I sat down at nine in the morning with all the embroidery materials and started sketching. You can see how much easy the sketch, that's why I completed this sketch quickly and I made a good sketch.
After making the sketch, I started embroidering the flower with red thread. This is my first time embroidering a flower in this way and I made the flower exactly as I saw in the video. In the video they have embroidered the flower with white thread but I chose red thread because I think red thread will look more beautiful. You can watch that short video here.
I embroidered this flower with the help of a pencil. You can see how I stitched from one end to the other put the pencil in the middle. The process is very easy and satisfying and uses more thread in this way but the final look comes out very beautiful. I have defined the method of embroidering this flower well in my video you must watch it. I completed this flower embroidery in about 20 to 25 minutes and I had a lot of fun making this flower embroidery.
After completing the flower embroidery, I put the green thread in the needle and started embroidering the leaves. I finished the embroidery with the green thread quickly because it was a fairly easy stitch. Finally I embroidered the center of the flowers with yellow thread and this is my favorite stitch. I finished this whole embroidery in about an hour and I had a lot of fun making it. I hope you will like this embroidery of mine. I will be waiting for your feedback.
FINAL LOOK 🥰💞
