Introduction
Hello there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
This will be my entry for this week's Battle Mage Secrets where I showcased a battle with the featured ruleset Super Sneak. This is a ruleset where all melee units gain the Sneak abili.
The Battle that I will show to you this week was from @bltzr-wizard-726 which is the scholar account I'm playing from Balthazar Guild in partnership with Side Door Ventures and was currently playing on Diamonds League of the Modern format.
But before I reveal my battle, let us learn more about this ruleset.

Super Sneak | All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. |
Sneak was the ability that allows monsters to target the last monster of enemy team instead of the first monster and with the Super Sneak ruleset, all melee monsters were given with this ability. Most of the melee monsters cannot really attack unless there were at the first position but with this ruleset, it gives them freedom to attack. Unless there is a monster with Taunt on the enemy's team, Sneaking Monsters will always attack the last position.

This battle comes with a 24 mana cap where the active rulesets are What Doesn't Kill You, Little League and the featured ruleset for this week which was Super Sneak. With this in consideration, my lineup was consist of:
Summoner: Quix the Devious - A Dragon Summoner which reduces the range and speed of all opponent units by -1.
1st Position: Pelacor Conjurer - A 2- mana non-damage unit with Flying that increases its evasion chance by 25% and Phase that allows it to evade magic attacks. It also has Magic Reflect which returns the damage it receive to the attacker and Divine Shield which makes it immune to the first attack it receives.
2nd Position: Uraeus - A 13- mana melee unit with Poison that allows it to afflict the opponent with Poison damage each turn.
3th Position: Dhampir Infiltrator - 4 6-mana melee unit that can attack twice per turn due to Double Strike while at the same time, it can reduce the max health of the target with Cripple and prevent them from healing with Affliction.
4th Position: Stitch Leech- A 3- mana melee unit that can increase its max health for every time it damage the opponent using Life Leech.
5th Position: Twilight Basilisk A 4- mana melee unit that can use Stun which has the 50% chance to prevent the target to attack for a turn.
6th Position: Clockwork Aide- A 4- mana non-damage unit that increases both the speed and health of all ally units with Swiftness and Strengthen while also reduces the armor of all opponent units with Rust.
Revealing the Battle
Round 1:
As the first round ends, Clockwork Aide was left with only 3 armor after the attack from Vruz and Vulguine while Pelacor Conjurer loses its Divine Shield and got the Affliction debuff after it was attacked by Doctor Blight which in return receives 2 damage from Magic Reflect. Meanwhile, Dhampir Infiltrator was successful in defeating Vruz although it also resulted for Doctor Blight and Vulguine to have a boost on stats due to Martyr.
Round 2:
During this round, the attack from Doctor Blight successfully connected to Pelacor Conjurer once again which resulted from it receiving 2 damage from Magic Reflect and this time, was able to afflict it with Poison. On the other hand, Dhampir Infiltrator was able to land a hit on Vulguine which got its armor removed followed by an attack from Twilight Basilisk that Stuns it and reduces its health by 3.
Round 3:
On round 3, my team has defeated both Vulguine and Runeseer Sevaya, following the attack from Uraeus, Dhampir Infiltrator, Twilight Basilisk and Stitch Leech meanwhile, the opponent was not able to inflict any damage as none of their attacks landed although, Pelacor Conjurer loses 2 health because of Poison.
Round 4:
On this round, Pelacor Conjurer was defeated by Doctor Blight which also receives damage from Magic Reflect as well as Nimbledook Explorer after it was attacked by Uraeus, Dhampir Infiltrator and Twilight Basilik while Stitch Leech removes the armor of Solace Ashinach.
Round 5:
Round 5 is where the battle ends as Uraeus, Dhampir Infiltrator and Twilight Basilisk defeats Solace Ashinach which triggers its Redemption, inflicting damage to my units but it also activates their Enrage which increases their speed and damage. As a result, Stitch Leech attacks Doctor Blight with 6 damage which finally close the round.
Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at Splinterlands.
Did My Strategy Work?
As the staple for the Super Sneak ruleset was to use Melee units, I focused my team with a melee heavy team which could attack the opponent from behind while at the same time, position a monster on my backmost position which can tank the damage in case that the opponent uses the same strategy while also placing a unit in my front that could deal in case the opponent attacks in front. I also believe that the opponent got confused by how Armored Strike works on a mon- melee unit which has contributed on how I was able to win my battle.
That was it for this post. Thank you and see you at the next one.
