A Cup of Coffee at the Peak of Mount Salak Aceh

That day at around 18.15 WIB we arrived at a cafe on the peak of Mount Salak Aceh, namely Puncak Hill Resto. When we arrived, the cold and foggy weather had become the hallmark of this place.

Then I headed to the stairs to get a seat at the top to enjoy a wider and more open view of nature while taking some photos of the scenery.

Then I got a seat not far from the beautiful photo location while enjoying the beauty and coolness of the mountain peak directly. And a cold atmosphere like this, coffee is always the right choice for me. I prefer original black coffee that is cooked using fire when I'm on the top of a mountain compared to coffee that is heated using steam, maybe because the aroma of the coffee is more natural even though the caffeine is slightly higher than using steam, but this is just a matter of taste, I think.

As soon as my ordered coffee arrived, I immediately took a sip with the natural aroma of coffee, the pleasure immediately reached my head which was slightly cold and frozen, either because of the mountain weather, or because life has too many things to think about. :)

After sip after sip, maybe spending about two hours in that place while enjoying the night and doing some things on the smartphone and also making calls, but it's time to go back down the mountain to face reality.;)

But the aroma, taste, and memories are still etched in my memory. And I'll be back another day.

"A million inspirations in a cup of coffee"

That's the story for today... because we have to continue the journey.

A nice place to enjoy a coffee and a pleasant climate. 👍🏻

That's right, with the natural mountain views, it's really suitable for drinking coffee. Thanks, Alborhada.

Thank you so much.

One of the pleasures of reading about coffee shops, is to be able to visit with foreign eyes places as beautiful as the one you present to us.
The mountain scenery is very beautiful, and the temperature is perfectly captured in your photographs.
For that cold your choice could not be more appropriate.
I would like to highlight a comment you make: there always comes a time to come down from the mountain to face reality. I feel every coffee ending a bit like that.
Happy coffees for your life.

Thank you very much for the great appreciation.

Oh I totally understand what you mean about preferring one brewing method over another depending on the moment. The world of coffee is so vast that just by learning to spot some of its differences, we can help ourselves to totally isolated experiences depending on what we choose.

The ambiance is spectacular for a warm coffee and the rustic decor of the place is great, I love the V60 sign!

Of course, the beauty of coffee is its versatility! Each brewing method has its own charm and recognizing the differences can make each cup feel like a unique journey. Thank you so much!
