It has been a rather eventful week but I still found time for a bit of Friday Night movies.
Two weeks ago, I talked about Lion King, the fall of Disney and my quest to download and keep some of my old nostalgic animations and shows.
Well, I just got another one.
Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas 🌊🏴☠️
Plot.
Sinbad, a notorious pirate is framed for a theft he didn't commit.
Now he travels to Tartarus, to collect the book back from the goddess Eris, and bring it back to save his friend and possibly the world.
This show is different from other nostalgic Disney movies in one thing. The fact that it isn't a Disney production.
In actuality, it's a collaboration between Studio universal and DreamWorks, the two being a company that still produces decent to down right incredible cartoons till this day.
Regardless, the works of DreamWorks back then still has a lot of memories with me and no movie do I have memories of more than Sinbad.
This show produced in 2003 is even older than I am, and till now I'm still enamored and hooked in it, I was simply entertained all through and I can tell you why.
- Straightforward Plot
One thing this show has is a straight forward plot, one that leaves no room for side stories nor loose ends, it was a plot that was meant to carry the viewers watching on a wondrous voyage in a pirate ship and nothing more. It did just that, limiting the lifestyle of land to the bare minimum and almost seventy percent of the movie was spent aboard.
- Lore and World building
For a cartoon, it had a pretty impressive world building and lore.
Pretty minimal but quite enough to be impressive for kids and even me.
The monsters and the goddess was a lovely addition.
Then the scenes of Tartarus were simply breathtaking.
- Animation
The animators were simply incredible!!
Every scene, movement and wave flowed so realistically that it was unreal.
I watched the action scenes with a discerning eye, looking for glitches, repetitions, sudden switches of color, texture and such and I found none.
It was pretty impressive how lifelike everything looked and just how good it moved.
The animators are the true stars of this show ✨
- Characters
This show knew how to tailor their characters for children, making it so the characters that did matter were distinguishable and more memorable from the characters that didn't.
Either it's from their looks, the way they converse or both.
The villain, Eris, herself looked beautiful and is one that I'll always remember 😂✨
In summary, this was a lovely, eternally fun show that you should surely watch and or rewatch!
Apparently, it made Dream work lose a lot of money but it earned me a lot of memories and laughs so...
The only possible bad about this show is it's simply horrid cover art😂😭
I promise you wouldn't regret it.. A solid 10 out of 10!⭐

Ha sido una semana bastante agitada, pero aun así encontré tiempo para ver algunas películas de los viernes por la noche.
Hace dos semanas, hablé sobre El Rey León, la caída de Disney y mi búsqueda para descargar y conservar algunas de mis antiguas animaciones y programas nostálgicos.
Bueno, acabo de recibir otro.
Simbad: La leyenda de los siete mares 🌊🏴☠️
Sinopsis.
Simbad, un pirata notorio, es incriminado por un robo que no cometió.
Ahora viaja al Tártaro para recuperar el libro de manos de la diosa Eris y traerlo de vuelta para salvar a su amigo y posiblemente al mundo.
Este programa es diferente de otras películas nostálgicas de Disney en una cosa: el hecho de que no es una producción de Disney.
En realidad, es una colaboración entre Studio Universal y DreamWorks, dos compañías que siguen produciendo dibujos animados decentes e increíbles hasta el día de hoy.
A pesar de todo, las obras de DreamWorks de entonces todavía me traen muchos recuerdos y no tengo más recuerdos de ninguna película que de Simbad.
Este programa producido en 2003 es incluso más antiguo que yo y, hasta ahora, sigo enamorado y enganchado a él. Me entretuve de principio a fin y puedo decirte por qué.
- Trama sencilla
Una cosa que tiene esta serie es una trama sencilla, que no deja lugar para historias secundarias ni cabos sueltos, era una trama que estaba destinada a llevar a los espectadores a un maravilloso viaje en un barco pirata y nada más. Hizo exactamente eso, limitando el estilo de vida en tierra al mínimo indispensable y casi el setenta por ciento de la película se desarrolla a bordo.
- Historia y creación del mundo
Para un Dibujos animados, tenía un mundo y una historia bastante impresionantes.
Bastante minimalista, pero lo suficiente como para impresionar a los niños e incluso a mí.
Los monstruos y la diosa fueron una adición encantadora.
Luego, las escenas del Tártaro fueron simplemente impresionantes.
- Animación
¡Los animadores fueron simplemente increíbles!
Cada escena, movimiento y onda fluía de manera tan realista que parecía irreal.
Observé las escenas de acción con ojo crítico, buscando fallas, repeticiones, cambios repentinos de color, textura y demás, y no encontré nada.
Fue bastante impresionante lo realista que se veía todo y lo bien que se movía.
Los animadores son las verdaderas estrellas de este programa ✨
- Personajes
Este programa supo adaptar sus personajes para los niños, haciendo que los personajes que sí importaban fueran distinguibles y más memorables de los que no.
Ya sea por su apariencia, la forma en que conversan o ambas cosas.
La villana, Eris, lucía hermosa y es una de las que siempre recordaré. 😂✨
En resumen, este fue un programa encantador y eternamente divertido que seguramente deberías ver o volver a ver.
Aparentemente, hizo que Dream Work perdiera mucho dinero, pero me hizo ganar muchos recuerdos y risas, así que...
Lo único malo posible de este programa es que su portada es simplemente horrible😂😭
¡Te prometo que no te arrepentirás! ¡Un sólido 10 de 10!⭐
